Ya give me fever!

Ya Give me Fever! For the last 7 weeks I have been suffering with TV Fever . . . . On 8/13 I visited TV for my very first time. I was immediately stricken with TV fever and haven't been able to recover! I have spent the last 7 week looking at listings, posting on TOTV, reading TOTV - starting at 4:00 AM :girlneener:& eating my heart out. I am addicted, no doubt and it's accompanied by a very high fever! I have met some very special people here on TOTV and I knew I had to get back ASAP. So on 10/03 I will be flying back,:2excited: accompanied by my best friend Eva (she came on my first visit) and I will be looking to buy my new home! :pepper2:

Hey guys - do you hear that???? Do you hear that loud noise??? That's my feet doing the happy dance - ta da!!!! I can't wait to meet you - somebody point the directions to Crispers and let me know the date and time!:beer3: I am dying to meet Gail (Whalen), Kate :bowdown:(what a very special gal) Jeanne - who arrives this Wednesday, (I told her I would be on her coat tails) :crap2: Kathie & the lovely Lucy! I think nONI will be here by then too. I truly feel like I am coming home . . . .

This list has meant so much to me - from our Talk Host <g> I just love this guy - to Niels, Peaches, NJ Blue, zcavema & others whom I can't think of at the moment, due to my high fever! Each one of you are just FaB!

When I get back from my visit on 10/03 - I will have to sell everything (except for those very special items that I "van't live without" and hightail it to TV, ASAP! Hey Op, I think we all had this fever.. its highly contagious... and the great part is,,, it doesn't go away.. Every day in TV is an adventure and a challenge to see how much you can fit into a day. The people are fantastic, the music is to die for and there's dancing every night. What else could one ask for.

Your arrival will coincide with Jeannie's and Nonie's so we'll be sure to get together to all take our temperatures. I'll pm you my phone number to give me a hollar when you get here.

I really consider our generation the cautious generation with a spending/saving history that was very modest...I realized that
I had the fever when buying a car took me longer than spending
hundreds of thousands on a house in TV. Does the fever go away
once you have written the checks?

No, the fever is, I'm afraid, permanent. And, the more checks you write, the more you must say to yourself, "It's only money!" That's how I survived my first few months here!

TOTV is special, too. I sometimes tell my non-Villager friends and acquaintances about all the friendships that begin here, are strengthened at Crisper's and Market Square and elsewhere. Inevitably, I get raised eyebrows and, "You actually meet with these people you met online?"

The first friend I met online through TOTV was Army Guy and, of course, Mrs. Army Guy. We had just moved to TV and the AGs were down on a mission to buy a villa.

We decided to meet for drinks at Urban Flats outside. As I told Mr Katezbox - that way if they are really strange we can make a quick getaway. Instead we stayed for dinner, danced, watched karaoke... A few visits later Mrs AG 'fessed up that she wondered if I was some sort of cougar cyberstalker. We laugh about every time we get together.

No Jeanne the pups are staying here. My neighbor is watching them for me.- I don't think I could handle house hunting AND two chihuahua puppies who are not housebroken yet. I'll be the first to admit that I am little bit crazy but not completely insane :girlneener:

Eva caught the fever when she was here with me. Eve confessed that she didn't really want to come to TV, and only did so because we are best friends. By the end of the first day, she wanted to sell and mover here with me <g> Unfortunately, she has quite a few years before she can retire. But she can spend all her days off with me!!!! :pepper2:

I discovered the TOTV in May and really appreciate all the information about TV. It has reinforced our decision to buy a home and move to TV full time in 3 years. We are tired of cold Ohio winters. We can't wait to meet so many new friends.

Our summer home, at least for now, is in Cincinnati, but we grew up in Columbus. Boomer is a Cincinnatian and JoJo is a central Ohio native.
