Ya give me fever!
Ya Give me Fever! For the last 7 weeks I have been suffering with TV Fever . . . . On 8/13 I visited TV for my very first time. I was immediately stricken with TV fever and haven't been able to recover! I have spent the last 7 week looking at listings, posting on TOTV, reading TOTV - starting at 4:00 AM
 & eating my heart out. I am addicted, no doubt and it's accompanied by a very high fever! I have met some very special people here on TOTV and I knew I had to get back ASAP. So on 10/03 I will be flying back, accompanied by my best friend Eva (she came on my first visit) and I will be looking to buy my new home!  Hey guys - do you hear that???? Do you hear that loud noise??? That's my feet doing the happy dance - ta da!!!! I can't wait to meet you - somebody point the directions to Crispers and let me know the date and time!  I am dying to meet Gail (Whalen), Kate  (what a very special gal) Jeanne - who arrives this Wednesday, (I told her I would be on her coat tails)  Kathie & the lovely Lucy! I think nONI will be here by then too. I truly feel like I am coming home . . . .This list has meant so much to me - from our Talk Host <g> I just love this guy - to Niels, Peaches, NJ Blue, zcavema & others whom I can't think of at the moment, due to my high fever! Each one of you are just FaB! Hope to see you soon - wish me luck and say a little prayer for me - I'm just burning up! Betty

TV will be just what the doctor ordered for that fever!
  I came down with the same ailment after our visit back in late July. I pouted and sulked around for weeks. If I could have I would have sold the house and all belongings asap and headed back to TV.One of these days............

Holy cow.
Darrell slaves down there in the engine room working to keep this forum rolling. I'm weary from all the topside work shining and polishing. Talk Host sits around all day eating bon-bons, and Opulence just loves this guy. What in the world is up with that? It must be the fever. |

I hope you're right, Betty! Look forward to meeting you one day.
In the meantime I will continue to get my TV fix by reading about all the fun things you and all the others are doing. I'll be latching onto your and Jeanne's coat tails, so if you feel something tuggin' - that'd be me.  Quote:

Cautious generation
I really consider our generation the cautious generation with a spending/saving history that was very modest...I realized that
I had the fever when buying a car took me longer than spending hundreds of thousands on a house in TV. Does the fever go away once you have written the checks? |

No, the fever is, I'm afraid, permanent. And, the more checks you write, the more you must say to yourself, "It's only money!" That's how I survived my first few months here! TOTV is special, too. I sometimes tell my non-Villager friends and acquaintances about all the friendships that begin here, are strengthened at Crisper's and Market Square and elsewhere. Inevitably, I get raised eyebrows and, "You actually meet with these people you met online?" Come on down! SWR
