I haven't tried that one, GG, but regularly use cajun seasoning, such as Emeril's, on catfish.

Thank you Carla. THIS forum has been so helpful to me when I admit ignorance. I have learned of a lot of things people like at groceries I had not shopped, and also about different kinds of cooking. I have not used Cajun spices and because of my shellfish allergies, I have had to miss a lot of yummy Cajun dishes.

I get most of my spice mix when we travel to NOLA. Some I have never found anywhere else. In a pinch I use Zatarains.
GG you can enjoy any dish without the shell. Chicken is a good sub in. Are u allergic to the imitation crab or imitation shellfish packages. It might give you the flavors that you’re looking for.
