After getting an e-mail supposedly repeating remarks made by the Australian Prime minister telling muslims to get out if they didn't like the Australian laws, looked it up on snopes.http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/australia.asp
Although partially true, (some cut and paste of comments by PM and others) thought the overall points made were well taken and wish we had some people that would take a similar stand. The basic thread was directed at ANYONE who comes to Australia. iF YOU DON'T LIKE THE LAWS AND CONSTITUTION OF AUSTRALIA, GO WHERE YOU DO LIKE THEM. DON'T EXPECT AUSTRALIANS TO ADAPT TO YOU! LEARN THE LANGUAGE!, FOLLOW THE LAWS, ONE LAW...AUSTRALIAN LAW! 'nuff said. :eclipsee_gold_cup:

or similar the world over. However, what they do have, however they do it....seems they put their country and it's laws first!!!
Once upon a time Teddy Roosevelt said something very similar.

Once we get the inbred rule of self first out of Washington, maybe then we will be able to restore our founding father's core values and return to making America great again.

Here's one for you.

My ex-wife works for the Post Office. She had (might still have but she admits it's hard in that environment) just about the best work ethic I'd ever seen.

In order to pass the test to become a Postal Worker (as opposed to a temp or contractor), you have to know english.

So why, my ex-wife asks, are employee notice put up also in Spanish?

Just another case of passing a law or a rule and failing to enforce it. I seem to recall you had to know English in order to stay here legally.
