Just got this information from an email and confirmed it in a posted letter from our Bishop John Noonan. "Throughout the Dioceses within the state of Florida, effective at the end of day [18 March 2020], regularly scheduled celebration of Masses and other liturgical events for the faithful in parish churches and other public sanctuaries are suspended until further notice in cooperation with efforts to contain the spread of the virus (COVID-19). Visitation to the churches to pray is also suspended. Any parish event or ministry event – e.g. prayer groups, bible studies, etc. – are suspended or postponed." For the complete info, here is the link to the archdiocese page. I cut out the https://www. part so it won't act like a live link so just copy and paste into your browser.

Was at mass on Sunday at St Timothy's and Father Ed stood at the altar and said " He will be doing masses everyday no matter what and the only way to get him off the altar was for the police to come up and arrest him

Yep - we were there as well and heard him say that too. He's a great priest that we love very much. But I'm thinking his (our) Bishop might have had the upper hand - and not just for St Timothy. :)

Can't say anything about the other Parishes/churches.
