Last week was our third visit in as many years. Our agent, Scott Parrish showed us a brand new village named Tamarind Grove. We had a wide selection of lots to choose from. We put a deposit down on our little piece of heaven and hope to be building our cottage within the year. We are very excited and will be looking foward to village life very soon.

Where is the Village of Tamarind Grove? I thought Buttonwood was the newest Village

Tamarind Grove is the next area beyond Buttonwood. It is off of St. Charles

If you go down St. Charles, you will see Tamarind Grove turns to the west. It is on the part of St. Charles still posted Construction area no car traffic in that area. Brand new area. We are just now doing some model homes in there. The Rec and Postal Pick up have been poured out already. Also Starting the St. James Rec Center off of St. Charles Closer to the south end of Buena Vista. Alot of construction vehicles. So please mind the warning signs..

Congrats on your new home to-be. Just love the name "Tamarind Grove". Anybody know what the streets will be named. Just curious.

tjwarzel,
We will be neighbors some day. We too put a deposit on a lot in Tamarind Grove.
Will you be on Ansley Path? We picked Lot 37 at the beginning of the cul-de-sac circle.

I saw four other Sold signs. Those four and mine are all on the south side of Ansley Path where the big trees run along the fence. Construction has begun on one of them. That will be the first privately-owned house in Tamarind Grove.
There are many (8-10-12? I forgot to count them) cottage homes going up on Montbrook Place starting right around the corner from your lot. Our TV rep said these will be the new models for the cottage homes. That area is like looking at an ant hill... there are construction workers and vehicles moving everywhere.

When I looked at the TV "new homes for sale" site, they list a "hammock' and a "seabreeze" model without any pictures or floor plans. Anybody know what they look like, or are they modified older models? Curious to see what we missed.

We just purchased Lot 21, so we'll be neighbors! Are you living there now? How many homes have been completed? We're looking forward to moving down!

Welcome Sally. Are you a horseperson, or a car person?

We purchased Lot #30 on Ansley Path in Tamarind Grove and they have started construction on our new cottage home to be completed in early November. We are so excited to be getting away from the cold Vermont winters. Visited last February and fell in love with The Villages. Can't wait to move into our new home!
Hopefully, we will have neighbors soon!

We do not live there yet, we are from Buffalo Ny. We plan on starting construction sometime next year. Where are you from? When do you plan on moving there?

Welcome pattyc. Hi neighbor. We put a deposit on Lot #37 in August. We plan to begin building in August 2011 and move in April 2012. We're near Champaign IL now.
MustangSally, we got an email from friends who live in TV with some pictures that they took this weekend. They said there are a total of 9 homes up... three down the cal-du-sac way, and three on each side of the street further up towards the pool. Of course, one of those is pattyc's.

In answer to laryb's question re: the SEABREEZE model. It is a brand new model - our rep emailed the plan to us which is not yet available on their website. It is very similar to At Ease, only a little larger and more open between kitchen/dining/living area.

To graciegirl - I have a '92 Mustang (that my husband keeps restored). Also, we are K9 lovers, 1 of which is being trained to do Hospice Pet Therapy. Any common interests?
