We have just purchased a lot in Sanibel. Any other new Sanibel folks out there? We still have a home to sell here in Illinois, but hope to be full time residents as soon as we can. We would love to connect with potential neighbors out there!:wave:

I think we will be building the Aspen. (Although, I have changed my mind 3x since we bought the lot in July, and although I continue to look at all the models constantly, I still go back to the Aspen.)

We will also be building in Sanibel just as soon as another buyer comes our way. We thought we were all set but as of yesterday the deal fell through at the last minute and so we begin again. We just keep thinking of the future and all the wonderful people that will be helping to form our new "village". It will happen! Jim and Pat:wave:

We got lucky, sold our home in four months in Tampa area. We will live on Kent Lane, house is already being built, we close on April 18th. Very exciting. Anxious to meet lots of new folks

There are 3 planned right next to Sanibel (behind Driving Range), and 3 additional ones to be opened in the Fall near Evans Prairie CC. Plus another Championship course toward the end of Morse just beyond Sanibel (Belle Glade CC).

We've already had a few parties and good turn-outs. The area is close to the Colony Rec Center, with tons of activities, and the Colony Plaza, with just about everything you need. We close on our house in Sanibel on June 13....we're near the cul de sac on Evesborough Path! We go down every day to take pictures, and when we went on our cruise, our new neighbors took photos AND emailed them to me! How exciting! Met several neighbors and I'll bet there will be some parties on the cul de sac this fall........:welcome:

We hope to meet you at the pool. We have closed on our home on Avondale, adjacent to the pool but are still in Ohio. The pool is in our backyard. :-) We won't have to go far to have a cold one.

Hi ALL! We are new to Sanibel but only part timers for now. We closed in Oct and will revisit in Jan for a couple of weeks. Probably be moved in permanently in Aug '13 :) We are getting everything done a little at a time before the final move. Glad to be here!

We too bought and closed on Silk Tree Ter...we are in the culdesac. Still punching the clock for another 8 months here in Colorad but will be down for a visit in Jan and a couple more times before Aug '13.
