THE NEWCOMER

I just had some homemade NC pork BBQ that was smoked for 10 hours on a coal type smoker that was labor intense. It was the best BBQ I've ever had. I was wondering if an of you have any experience with an electric smoker verse a coal smoker. I'm on the lazy side and just want to put it on and be back in 8- 10 hours verse adding coals every two hours etc..... I love crock pot but you don't get that real smoked favor. I'm leaning toward an electric one for the ease of cooking and the control of temperature. Many SMOKERS out with suggestion or recomendations?

PS: If you smell something in the air over Christmas holidays, it me trying out my new smoker. Boston Butts NC/VA style! Thanks! ;)

Thanks so much for the info --we have been debating over what kind of grill to get but weren't aware of this one --looks like the one for us
