While I am obviously anti Obama my feeble mind went to those folks who have the job of preparing the President for these kind of events. This is something that they should know and should have impressed strongly on him.

Besides this major gaffe which will receive little criticism in the MSM, Obama gave one of 14 Medal Of Freedoms to the Chair of the Democratic Socialists of America. The recipient is an 82 year old labor activist, Dolores Huerta, who is also a co-founder of the United Farm Workers Union.

Dolores Huerta has claimed that “Republicans hate Latinos,” and has praised the despotic socialist regime of Hugo Chavez’s in Venezuela.

First thing that comes to my mind is when Geo Bush attending the APEC conference, said something about welcoming folks to the OPEC conference.

It seems to me, and I understand your thinking of me, but it does seem that this thread and many others are started non maliciously.....THIS ONE...I wondered about the folks who prep the President for this kind of thing.....and the defense becomes so rabid and fanatic you sort of make those of us who may criticize anything to appear as if we make this stuff up.

This man is the PRESIDENT.....he is subject to criticism but you guys dont see it that way. You see anything relative to him as protected or something.
