The game at "RUBY TUESDAY" is a very small print with very light ink on the final bill---- Unable to read unless in good light & with glasses.---- We have found three overcharges in the last two months after close examination ---The staff have been advised of this problem each time, BUT NO CHANGE. We love the food,--- But are not going back due to this problem.

What were the overcharges for? If the staff was notified, did they correct the bill? I'm curious for more info as we've eaten there many times with no problems.

That is disturbing. Since it is highly unlikely that a national chain would do something like this on purpose, the only other possibilities are that a) you were just unlucky that someone made a careless error on your bill or b) one of the employees is doing it intentionally. I would go to their website and voice your concerns. This way, the complaint bypasses the local manager and will be handled by someone at the district level.

Was the situation discussed with the manager? You may not be the only person who has had a dispute with charges on their bill.

What was the manger's response when you inquired?

I wish the OP would tell us what was the amount and the specifics of the overcharge and WHAT the manager said when it was shown to him/her.

We have so many vague posts that do not give adequate information and are not helpful for us to understand and make decisions.

I think that we should all demand that receipts are legible for one thing. Bealls Outlet on 466 near Publix, it is IMPOSSIBLE to read the bill because of faint type. I asked the clerk when they were going to correct it as it has gone on for a year even after changes to the ink supply and the tape. That isn't right.

I would love to know exactly what the OP is talking about. Like others have noted this post is very vague. What exactly is the game?
I did read recently about some restaurant chains rounding up and down to the nearest dollar to expedite checkout. Is that what this is all about?

I have no clue to the problem you are addressing. What very small print??? What very light ink ???? You need to explain the over charges more clearly.

I agree with what most folks are posting. I have, on occasion, found charges that were not from our order. When brought to the servers attention, they have always been resolved quickly. Done quietly and politely has been the way to go, I surely don't want to embarrass the server or get them into hot water with the Mgr.
