No garlic and no onions, no peas. The video is definitely worth watching.
Maryann Esposito used to have a show on Public Television; she’s traveled all over Italy for her recipes; plus her childhood memories hold a wealth of great simple Italian comfort food.
Some people add cream to this dish, but it would not be the traditional way......as no doubt the “pioneer woman’s” recipe was not........but you can change it up any way you like.
I’m going to make the pioneer woman’s version.......as I love garlic and onions and peas...........so that would be the version I posted earlier this a.m. with the step by step photos..........
