Shoot girl, I was mosing along reading different threads, checking in at the end of a long day, saw your colorful version of the barefoot picture and thought you had gotten really creative with it like Ronda does sometimes.
I have no idea how you could have done that by accident.
I think you should just reload it, try again. It is interesting, but it kind of looks like "barefoot love on acid"
I think I like it better au natural.

Just checked out four threads and they're all about ice cream, chocolate and other decadent stuff. :yikes: I went out for dinner with a girlfriend, came home not hungry. Then ate tortillia chips and dark chocolate. Not because I was hungry, but because I'm missing TV and I'm a meter eater!

I just purchased annuals to plant up here in Pa. If they survive the deer over the summer, they will die with the first frost. In TV, the impatiens that I planted in Mar 06 are still blooming like wild things.

Grab life by the throttle and dont look back!
 

Well...... I have been home for a few days now and I have dug right in to this overwhelming task of downsizing.

I am filthy, tired, and discouraged with everything that has to be done,but as I was cleaning out some dresser drawers this morning I found a plaque under a bunch of junk that says.......GRAB LIFE BY THE THROTTLE AND DONT LOOK BACK!

Im going to put this right under the picture I have of The Villages and never lose sight of the wonderful life that is in store for me in TV.

Im all charged up again now so Im going back to throwing out everything I can get my hands on. Thanks for letting me share this with you. ;)

Seems like this is clean up and throw out week. Or clean out and throw up. Or something like that.

Just like Susan, Samhass and Nonie, I've been busy trying to get my house ready to be listed, which involves throwing out mountains of old stuff and old memories. From time to time, I come across packages of old pictures (yes, they didn't make it to the album, most don't). And I spend hours looking through them, remembering other times, and other lives. I get very nostalgic.

And then I found this Affirmation which helped me through a difficult time in my life when I was feeling weak and angry after a painful marriage break-up. I pinned it on my wall and said it aloud many times a day. It fixed my life and allowed me to move on to love and light. I just wanted to share it with you.

I am having weird feelings and nightmares. I see myself kidnapping the next couple who come through the door and threaten them with no food or water until they sign a contract. I then see me throwing myself at the feet of the next two walk through's and beg for mercy to buy so we can start our new life which is now on hold, on hold, on hold, on hold, on hold............................

JohnnyM, you really crack me up but I do feel your pain and your frustration. I know how badly you want to get to Tv because I feel the same way and I havant gotten half as far as you have. Havant even buried St. Joseph yet!(Yes you need to have a good long talk with him).

So much for the "Law of Attraction". You have been putting out enough positive thoughts about selling to make your house rise off its foundation. LOL

Barefoot that was beautiful. I will print it.

I listen to Helen Reddy - I Am Woman I Am Strong and It Is You and Me Against the World and other songs she sang. I found they gave me strength.

To all of you who are trying to sell a home, buy a home in TV and who are ill and or under the weather I have lit many candles in churches in France for you and said many prayers. I hope they all work.

Hope to be back in chat soon. I have free wifi for the first time in two weeks.

I didn't find any plaques, cards, affirmations, or old wallpaper but I did find this experience unique....here goes

About 10 years ago I found this unique pendant laying (lying...omg...don't know which one to use) on the floor. I asked all my kid's friends...didn't belong to anyone. I set it aside.

About 5 years later the pendant showed up again. I can't remember where or how but I do remember finding it and setting it aside again.

Well, about 3 months ago it appeared again...sitting on my dresser. I know I didn't put it there...maybe my cleaning lady found it somewhere but I don't know. All I know is that it was there.

I decided this was a sign of some sort...so I took it to the jewelers, bought a chain, had it made into a necklace, and have been wearing it ever since.

Does anyone recognize what it is? Here I am wearing a pendant that I have no idea what it is but feel it was meant for me to wear....
