Default available golf groups

Hello all,
My husband is looking to join a golf group to play with on a regular basis. Where should he look for these groups?

Check with your neighbors or any Villages social group you belong to. If your husband plays sometimes as a single he may be able to find a group that he gets put with.

First, check with your neighbors to see if there is a group he can join.

Second, go onto the tee time system and add yourself to a threesome. With time, he will come across a group who will take him in. This has the advantage that they will probably live in the same general area as the course.

Finally, Register for a slot on the executive tournament on the tee time system. He will meet some new folks who might be interested in playing on a regular basis.

Hope he finds a group that he enjoys.

If you play a lot of golf as a single, it won't take long before you are paired up with people with a similar skill level and with whom you enjoy playing. Often those people will be in a regular group.
