No way in hell would I Alexa in my home. Read up on they can eavesdrop and hear everything in your house.

His house had electronic locks. Granted, he could have broken a window, and probably did, but it took him a week to get it all straightened out.

My electric lock also works with a key. If I don't have a key, it works with the manufacturer's app from with Alexa interaction. Of course, we don't know what brand of lock he had or what he forgot to mention as he told his story to the paper and it's probably worth noting the article doesn't mention door locks at all.
