I have been with them for 60 years with my car insurance and had homeowners with them until I moved to Florida. Now I have American Integrity through the Villages Insurance, but rates have gone up, so am shopping now for new company.

Yes that is what happened to me and why I am asking for information and advice. I appreciate everyone's input.

Super happy with AAA

Saved $400 going with Hartford for auto instead of AAA. I'm stuck with Progressive because of sinkhole coverage.
Just a warning, make sure you are really getting SINKHOLE coverage. Would love to save on house insurance. Even Progressive with the Villages house insurance was slightly cheaper than AAA, not by much thou.

Tried bundling with the Villages but no savings at all.

Geico for the car and ASI for the house. Cannot beat GEICO. ASI IS ONE OF THE FEW THAT COVERS SINK HOLES.

Hartford beat Geico by a bunch call, and you will also.

Whatever you do do not use American Integrity for homeowners insurance they bought into the villages with cheap rates and deny claims. As the roofs continue to age a good homeowners insurance company will honor their claims

We have Travelers (auto), and ASI (home) through The Villages Insurance. Both premiums went up so I called The Villages Ins and ask them to shop it again. They found a little known deal on both having to do with the length of time we have been with each company, our age, no claims and a credit rating of 837. I didn't understand any of it but it saved us over $400 per year so I took it. It doesn't hurt to ask. I had a little scratch and dent accident in the garage with the car recently so it will be interesting to see if the premium goes up.

Big Guy, I have Travelers for the car and backed into my garage with the door open at under 1mph. I thought I was in Park. Oops. Brand new car, embarrassed that it happened and called my agent after I got the estimate of $1200. She said use your insurance that what its there for. If it goes up we'll deal with it. Well I paid the $500 deductible they picked up the rest and the rest is what they tacked onto my next bill. Very disappointed in myself for the accident and for them hitting me so hard after a lifetime of no claims with the best Insurance Company in the world. New Jersey Manufacturers. Dividend checks twice a year and reasonable rates. I guess your lifetime record doesn't count when the result is in your favor.

I've comes to terms with the Insurance business and their ways in Florida. The do deserve to make a profit. I would have been nice if they spread my big hit over several years.

I'm going to give Chubb and AAA a shot at the car this year. Very helpful thread.
