OP with a follow up. I contacted Villages insurance last Friday to ask them to research a cheaper alternative for golf cart insurance. I wonder why, when we already have homeowners and car insurance with Progressive thru Villages Insurance, they did not originally quote Progressive.
Regardless I contacted Progressive today and got a quote of $102 for 1 year golf cart insurance with same coverage. Plus I will have a slight decrease in car insurance for multi policies. It will be interesting what Villages Insurance will offer when they follow up. |
Allstate has been the best for us.

Golf Cart Insurance
Tom52. Good coverage. How much is your policy annually?

If you go to The Villages Ins in person, they may be able to get you a lower rate. The same thing happened to me a few years ago and they were able to get me an even lower rate than I was paying. And I was able to stay with foremost. I had called foremost directly and they said they could not help me, but The Villages Ins did. Give them a try.....

I can live with $140 or less. My neighbor that I play golf with, said he doesn't have golf cart insurance. He worked for a major insurer in Jacksonville for several years, and said it's covered under his homeowners. From I read, it's only covered if you're traveling to and from the golf course and on the golf course. That's his decision. |
