After sitting in a line to pay the toll. No I do not think they are a bad idea. As for as tolls. Driving on the roads here in RI and the condition they are in. I don't have a problem with a toll. Just my thoughts.

Ours sticks to the front window and you can take it out to use on another vehicle. We bought that at Publix and then went to web site and register and put money on our system. Already used it and it worked just find. Will be using it again this week. It is the Sun Pass and does work with both systems here in Florida

You also get a discount on the toll for using the sunpass.
