Slippers and all his products are worth the money compared to that made in China crap.

Buyer beware…..if you miss the pay shipping, on all items or just second item, then You fall into their focus group. What product in your lifetime from a business, have you ever gotten entirely for free, even BOGO you are giving that business money.

Gas stations used to be cash only, until credit cards became a norm. Even before digital signs gas stations always had 2 prices. Guess my eyesight is pretty good without glasses to figure out which price is cash :clap2:

Most seniors today don’t fall into the “I didn’t read the advertisement. My parents in their mid eighties doesn’t fall into this group. For vitamins, your PC should have explained, you are paying for expensive urine output a long time ago.

I can't believe that he is getting rid of inventory at a loss, so he must have sold his products at a very high markup and profit. $150 for a pair of slippers??? I think the satisfied customers in the commercial are actors and not actual users. False advertising!

I think he is only hurting himself and his business. He has to be on FOX at least 20-30 times a night. I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t stand his voice or his ads so I change the channel or mute the TV. Not very effective advertising.

I checked into the slippers when I first saw the commercial fir them but they were 149.00 dollars so I did not get them
When I saw the sale I ordered a pair and they are very comfortable
So I ordered 2 more pairs
I bought the pillows years ago at bed bath and beyond and still happy with them but no longer shop at that store.
I would also like to add that the customer service for my pillows is outstanding.

I've become very adept at hitting the mute button when Mike comes on. Now it will be My Coffee, lordy help us........

Blackbird45 07-23-2022 06:50 AM

I don't know if his pillows or slippers or whatever he is selling is worth the price.
I don't know if he needs the money or what this man is worth.
What I do know is this guy is not wrapped too tight.

jimbo2012 07-23-2022 07:03 AM

my pillow sales are over $250 million a year from his crappy ads

Bellavita 07-23-2022 07:19 AM

first the my pillow guy is an idiot
anyone who thinks you can buy slippers for $140 is an idiot as well.

if it is too good to be true it probably is a lie.

But, now he is selling slippers for $50 that he claims are regularly priced at $140. I wonder if he ever sold a pair of his slippers for $140. I doubt it.

I wish the FTC would crack down on false advertising like they are paid to do. To me, the worst ads are for food supplements that only use testimonials to sell their product. No research. Also, the ones that claim that something is "free" when you actually need to pay a shipping fee and sign up with a credit card for regular additional purchases. Free should mean free.

Love my pillow and so do all the people who I bought them for as Christmas gifts.

You all did ..let’s be real. His advertising is genius and it made him rich. People just hate because he became a huge success.

But if you hate commercials turn the TV off and go enjoy everything THe villages has to offer, way better then boob tube.

The tactic that bothers me the most is when all kinds of discounts are available but only if you download and use their app.

I think they went after him because they did not like his politics. I own several “my pillows” and so do my friends and family. We’ve bought them online direct, through Bed & Bath and at a trade show. Never a problem, always satisfied. They hold upon to washer and dryer and are comfortable. Two years ago I purchased my parents villa in Bonnybrook. I was up in Massachusetts when I ordered a Mattress topper for the spare room. I mistakenly ordered a double but the bed was a queen. I called customer service to find out what my options were they told me that by law it could not be returned because I opened it. They told me that they would send me the right size free of charge if I donated it to a charitable organization and emailed them the receipt for their records! I was extremely pleased. The topper is great.

So called "promo codes" as discounts against their "regular price" are common marketing practices, however, today's marketing tactics look pale in comparison to claims made in years gone by. But the point with the slippers isn't how they arrive at the price, the point is whether you believe the cost of the product to be worth it. By the way, there are sellers on eBay offering those same slippers for $89, so there you go. It's called "due diligence". As a side note, the retailers who dropped My Pillow products (including Walmart) did so for political reasons, not his advertising tactics. However, you are correct, he was sued for health claims regarding the pillow product.

We have used My Pillow pillows for years with no health issues and will continue to buy them because they work for us. No reason to switch when they work. Thanks, Mike!!

He advertises on only one channel....care to guess?
