Not the case with my pillow

He's on fox news that often because the network is hurting for advertisers and he's one of the few that will actually pay for time slots. They've had many companies bow out and no longer advertise with fox, so you're stuck with the dregs.

My parents got a pair of mypillows when they first came out, but hated them. I took my mom's, she only used it one night. It's okay but not nearly as good as my SleepNumber pillow I was given in exchange for a review on the bed I bought from them. I wouldn't ever buy a mypillow, but I'm tempted to pick up a GoodPillow this year. You can get 2 for $119, and they're supposedly much better than the mypillows. They're also less expensive than the SleepNumber pillows.

Speaking of that, seems that the Sun had more ad pages than ever.

That's one reason I'm not much on watching much television, those commercials are an insult to our intelligence.
Half hour of news weather and sports and 15 minutes of commercials.

Oh and about Sun Times and their ads, those ads are the backbone of their financial support.
No ads, no paper.:read:

But, now he is selling slippers for $50 that he claims are regularly priced at $140. I wonder if he ever sold a pair of his slippers for $140. I doubt it.

I wish the FTC would crack down on false advertising like they are paid to do. To me, the worst ads are for food supplements that only use testimonials to sell their product. No research. Also, the ones that claim that something is "free" when you actually need to pay a shipping fee and sign up with a credit card for regular additional purchases. Free should mean free.

Time to move on and relax!

We almost never watch live tv programs. Record anything we’d like to see a day before. We have DIRECTV. Tons of hard drive space. And the remote allows easy fast forward at diff speeds. And a key for 20 seconds forward I find that’s great for football. Press after a play ends and almost go right to the next. But especially the crap commercials. We never watch and skip over; the only time in a year we watch them is Super Bowl.

Re ads support the paper, duh. My point was the very expensive full page, sometimes 4 full pages like hearing aids, with so much text….

Those advertisements need to be in the paper, if they were on the radio their target market couldn’t hear them.

Although the commercials can be annoying. The mattress topper they sell is by far the absolute best. We tried a few others first....

At $20 per pound on sale? It better be really good.

I can't believe that he is getting rid of inventory at a loss, so he must have sold his products at a very high markup and profit. $150 for a pair of slippers??? I think the satisfied customers in the commercial are actors and not actual users. False advertising!

Sound like someone has sour grapes

If there was 2 Advertisers that I could get rid of it would be pharmaceutical companies and Personal Injury Lawyers.

What I do know is this guy is not wrapped too tight.

My Pillow is by far the best pillow I have ever had……would never give it you. I used to wake up with my hands asleep and in pain, got MyPillow and I am guessing the way my neck lays on the pillow that has all gone away. I would go on his commercials because I know how much it has help me.

We’ve bought them online direct, through Bed & Bath and at a trade show. Never a problem, always satisfied. They hold upon to washer and dryer and are comfortable. Two years ago I purchased my parents villa in Bonnybrook. I was up in Massachusetts when I ordered a Mattress topper for the spare room. I mistakenly ordered a double but the bed was a queen. I called customer service to find out what my options were they told me that by law it could not be returned because I opened it. They told me that they would send me the right size free of charge if I donated it to a charitable organization and emailed them the receipt for their records! I was extremely pleased. The topper is great.

Wow what a great story……..love the true American companies
