When I was inducted into the service I took and oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America from enemies both domestic and abroad. As far as I'm concerned that oath never expired. I may be older, a little slower but still capable of performing that duty. These groups are Domestic Terrorist as far as I'm concerned.

Would be interesting to hear exactly who those groups might be.
I have only read two groups on here, as excluded are those who "use" those two.

I don't know which of "these" groups you're referring to but...it really doesn't matter. As far as you're concerned, it isn't your place to decide. They are, or are not, domestic terrorists that need you to defend us from, when and if they are decreed by someone of a higher pay scale than you had when you took that oath, to be domestic terrorists. Until then, stand down, or you will BE that domestic terrorist you are claiming to defend us against.

That's how it was founded, and what its original mission was. It is currently one of the most powerful, influential, and profitable lobbyist organizations in the country. They fight against ANY restrictions on firearms - including universal background checks. In other words - all the criminals who have an extensive criminal history of gun violence - all the people who have violent histories but have not yet ever registered for gun ownership and are trying to do so now... the NRA supports NOT doing a background check to ensure that the guns aren't just being put into those hands.

They're basically saying "hey you - with the $250 permit fee written in nice neat letters on your check. Wanna buy a gun? Oh, you might have been arrested for beating all three of your previous wives? Nah don't worry about it. Just don't put that on the application form, we won't be checking you out anyway. Here. Have a gun, and a nice day."

That is the NRA in a nutshell, now. A far cry from what it once was.

Wow, the misinformation in this post.

Today, with respect to the problem of auto-loading military-style rifles, IF--IF the rich profiteering gun manufacturers (that take your $ on their high margin m-style weapons) were to STOP manufacturing THOSE and the Police had the resources ($) to do BUY-BACKS it would WORK. Society would have to pony up the big bucks, YES. Don't forget that Police are the ones NOT killed by single-shot and bolt action (used by hunters). The Police who sat down and thought about it would LIKE the idea of those BUY-BACKS. Matter of fact they do NOW, but don't have enough $ to buy enough from the marginal criminals, who would gladly sell them and go back to being pick-pockets as...like maybe 1940 or so. PS...single shots and bolt are LOWER margin weapons.

Have you forgot about the "War on Drugs" that used millions of dollars, time and effort that hasn't cut the demand for drugs one bit? You totally ignore the fact that organized crime will provide the guns criminals need to commit crime. The number of shootings involving AR and AK rifles is miniscule when compared to the total shootings in the U.S. As I posted earlier far more people are killed with hammers than with rifles. If you check you will find the majority of police officers are not in favor of banning military style rifles.

You keep talking about these groups that use BLM and ANTIF as a smokescreen, who are they? Present some believable information sources that support your contention.

Those groups have already made their intentions known. I would much rather die defending this country then live under what is being proposed. It is exactly what that oath meant.

Media Matters: Run by George Soros
Black Lives Matter Global Fund Network: Run by 3 Marxist ladies.
Thousand Currents: Run by a far left gentleman out in California.
ANTIFA: Just have to watch and listen to the people that represent the movement.
Color of Change.

If you want links to the people I would gladly provide them but it will be deleted I'm sure. Reasearch those organizations, follow the money. Read their platform.

The guy yelling "white supremacist" from his golf cart is all over the news today.

Maybe this will be more than food for thought.

I hope that guy is proud of his racism. If things get crazy around here we'll know who to thank.

We'll thank him, and everyone who supports him, and everyone who agrees with him, and everyone who lets him continue behaving that way.

He's not the only one. He's just one of the more vocal ones, apparently.

So the woman shouting a four letter word at everyone is acceptable? When you yell obscenities at someone who you don't know there is no idea what will comeback. THe whole thing was despicable. I'm sure her grandchildren are proud. She is all over the internet.
