I grew up near some nuclear reactors so I'm going by a different list.
1. Take iodine (Potassium Iodide) tablets immediately. Always keep some on hand just in case. 2. Get out of the city ASAP |
What is more dangerous?
1) Nuclear Attack 2) Walking the city streets |

If you mean, on any given day, then streets are a big winner, since it has been a while since any Nuke was used in a war. But, in absolute terms, Nukes have the ability to insure total annihilation of the human race. So, in absolute magnitude Nukes win, in terms of practical impacts on our daily lives, streets have a bigger impact. But, let's not forget there is a crazy in power with nukes threatening to use them frequently. We even had one here say, "Why have nukes if we don't use them" (paraphrased). So. maybe they are a realistic concern to everyone... |
The NYC emergency management has added to the procedure....no burning, no looting and no murdering. UNDER PENALTY OF LAW

This is a joke.
Step 4: Bend over and kiss your butt goodbye. |

LYING OFFICIALS KNOW THAT IF WAR PROCEEDS TO THE CITIES IT'S ALL OVER. NYC PROBABLY HAS BEEN TARGETED FOR AT LEAST TEN WARHEADS. JUST BOUNCING THE RUBBLE. NO WAY TO PROVE THIS BUT I STRONGLY BELIEVE THE USA HAS DUSTED OFF THEIR WAR GAMES SCENARIOS FOR A PREEMPTIVE IST STRIKE. |

If WWIII is fought with nukes, WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones.

For the power plant, They have been giving us potassium iodine tablets for a few years now (This is in NY about 30 miles from NYC.). NYC also has many ways to tell if a dirty bomb is travelling throughout the streets.in the city. Frightening stuff, but it would be more frightening if we did not have plans. |
