Every day in every way when I have a preference for one thing versus another, I thus discriminate. Now I believe you mean "racial discrimination", if so then say what you mean without the broad brushstrokes. Coercion and/or violence will never change the human heart in to one of greater love and understanding; it only breeds more hatred and violence. Coerce me to knee, coerce me to say black lives matter, violently and physically attack me; you might get me to submit but you are certain to generate a long lasting hatred. Why would anyone want to generate more hatred in this world, especially while espousing a love of peace? Ulterior motives perhaps? |

Guess we can go to cherry pie but we have to do a study of this so it might be a few years for that so guess we better get together and stop eating pie. |

I guess a protest of GRIT TV would be in order? There is no telling where all this nonsense will end?

This violence is about $$$$$$$$$ and power, nothing else. Pure and simple extortion. Where is the concern and anguish about the black carnage in Chicago every weekend? Silence. Where is the concern and anguish about the millions of black babies aborted? Silence. Where is the concern and anguish about the putrid level of education that most young blacks get in inner city schools? Silence. But I thought Black Lives Matter? Apparently not. Only when money and power can be extorted do black lives matter. Hundreds of millions of dollars are now being funneled to black organizations from the government, from corporations, from individuals. BLM is an organization that has tapped into the mother lode of white guilt, liberalism and political correctness. BLM spent over $1 million on consultants and travel last year. This movement will not help blacks at all. It’s just Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson on steroids! We’re being conned because a rotten cop took down a really bad criminal with excessive force. And a lot of money and power is changing hands because of it. Not a bad con if you can get away it. And they are.

The government pays too well. They all just sitting around thinking of everything that bothers them. They should be working.

I've enjoyed almost every single one of John Wayne's movies.
If the naming of the airport (which I find one of the easiest to get in and out of and love its close proximity to an Embassy Suites, which is great for family travel) is based on his work in film...I have no problem with it. However, to be fair, the plaque on the statue should also, IMHO... include his racist/bigoted/xenophobic personal viewpoints. Think of it as..."truth in advertising." |

It's a bit ironic that Bob, the owner of one of John Wayne's favorite restaurants (as stated by Wayne himself, on one of the restaurant's own postcards)...held much different personal views than The Duke. I found a framed, handwritten postcard stating the restaurant was one of his favorites by The Duke, in a memorabilia store in Orlando, then immediately called my best friend in Newport Beach to pass on to his uncle Bob...who bought it over the phone. It stayed in Bob's office until his passing. The reason I know this, is that my best friend (Bob's nephew) is also the manager of the Crab Cooker of Newport Beach. I hear the new restaurant, because the old one was condemned due to nearby construction...should be open soon. As you may know, they don't take reservations and even once made a very important and powerful person stand in line...along with everyone else. :D |

Fair enough. Also for Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms? :ho: As for those not in the halls, the list should start with George Wallace/Lester Maddox/Brigham Young/Rick Perry/Etc./Etc. |
Can you refer me to the sites where black woman and families are sad because they can’t pose for the roll of Aunt Jemima. I’m always looking for a funny story

There is a rumor they want to change the name of terminal A to Aunt Jemima Terminal.
