Adults behaving badly. Shaking my head...

The old lady was interviewed at the cart parade. Her behavior can't be excused because some think she's crazy. She says it's very hard for her to live in TV.
She moved here from Connecticut where I guess it's ok to walk up to peaceful cart rallies and yell FU in people's faces.

I just spoke with my neighbor, they had planned to leave Wednesday (July 1st) on the Autotrain and visit her sister in NY for a week. She just told me they had to cancel the trip because Cuomo told the people of NY, no visitors. I was surprised they were going when they told me a couple of weeks ago.

At the bottom of the video, it says the tweet has had 9.1M views. :22yikes: — And that number refers to the tweet, the whole tweet, and nothing but the tweet.

I assume from your post history that you do not like NPR, and no doubt consider it your nemesis — one of them anyway. But, c’mon, branch out. It’s all there on NPR. Both sides. Uncut.

My guess is that her problems tend to follow her wherever she goes and that she is not a happy person anywhere. I, myself, could be very happy spending my days swimming, golfing, working out, shopping, listening to live entertainment, hanging out with friends....

I'm not sure what she finds so disagreeable about living in TV but no one is forcing her to live there.

Trump Birthday Parade Hecklers Shouting Profanities

I've always heard about the proverbial "Village Idiot", well she has been found.

The video was out last week in its entirety on the "other" Villages online news. I watched it then and was embarrassed to see adults on both sides of politics displaying such childish, abhorrent behavior.
Then the President of the U.S. reposted it on his preferred communication form to bring it to the attention of the whole country. It took 3 hours for it to be taken down --while he was on the golf course.
Meanwhile it destroyed the reputation of The Villages and all who live here.
How long is this nonsense of tearing each other down going to continue!

Typical racist, hateful, one sided news desperately looking for something to belittle us because of who we support. A group had a large “White Trash” banner along side a banner for the opponent on Bailey Trail, across from Lake Miona maybe a month ago. Many Villagers saw this. I WANT THIS ON THE NATIONAL NEWS! This is a racial slur! “White Supremacist” is also a racial slur used by the same people to demean white people for there own “power grab”.

I'm aware the video can be seen in it's entirety on the internet. But virtually every media story on this mentions the "white Power" aspect, not the FUs and Nazis yelled at each cart.

Nah. People aren't stupid. Anyone watching the uncut video, which is what Trump posted, could see that there was stupidity on both sides but that the main instigator was that woman. The media is the one who routinely posts little snippets of videos out of context just to get a rise out of people - so if you are unhappy with their "editing" you should direct your complaints to the ones doing the actual editing.

I'm not going to let the media bully me away from what really seems to be a nice community and a good group of people.

I don't understand how you can call it fake? Did the guy in golf cart not say those words? Hardly fake when you see it and hear in the first 8 seconds of the video. It was also terrible what the rest were saying in that video. I can only imagine what the next one in a couple of months is going to sound like.

Media attacks? Where did I hear that before?
