You know, follow the money is a very good bit of advice. But here I feel that something else is motivating this post. There are a lot of people who do not see medical people unless they are sick, which is not a good plan as we age. Most of us reading your post right now take several medications to stay well; Blood pressure medicine and statins for two. Some people depend on alternative medicine and unproven vitamins and supplements and even Marijuana products to help with their wellness. I do not trust alternative medicine and some people do not trust large Pharmaceutical companies. I think that they do make a lot of money and maybe too much on certain things at times but the research to get effective drugs is very expensive itself. I do not worship pharmaceutical companies but I am grateful to be here talking to you at the age of 81, largely due to the medications I take to prevent heart disease.

I do not think that Anthony Fauci is hanging with big pharma for the bucks. I think I am a pretty good judge of character. We don't have to like someone, as I do not like Tiger Woods because of his attitude, but I respect his skill with a driver and a pitching wedge and a putter. I don't know Anthony Fauci personally but he has gotten along with presidents for fifty years, both sides of the aisle. I think he was badly disrespected in the last year by those high in office...One I voted for and supported in other ways. Not all M.D.s are great or even good, but generally their I.Q. falls in the top five percent of the population. I think Fauci is smart. But he is not perfect.

What? Did you forget about maleria, tuberculosis, leporasy, smallpox, influenza? The list goes on. This guy hasn't kept anyone alive. He is a total full of crap Washington bureaucrat. If you are a doctor and haven't figured out yet how viruses spread, you have no credibility. Yes, this one is different, but it is a virus. They have existed in our ecosystem for a very long time. Wash your hands, don't touch your face, etc. I don't need a blowhard Washington dipwad full of himself to tell me that, but then again, I am an independent that has and never will rely on the government to do anything for me. They do, however, enjoy taking from me.

How can you support that argument?

If you (and everyone else) does these things, then someone who is EXPOSED to Covid, but doesn't actually have it themselves, does not have to quarantine.

I've been exposed to it, I have no doubt. I worked in retail all last year. There's no way I could have NOT been exposed to it.

But because I social distanced, wore a mask, and washed my hands, the risk of my passing it to other people, was minimal, if non-existent.

UNLESS the people who were in close proximity to me insisted on not wearing a mask, getting up close and personal with me (some customers actually tried to hug me, or shake my hand, or give me a fond squeeze on the shoulder - which under other circumstances I'd be fine with).

They did have a panel of researchers and front line doctors with Senator Johnson as facilitator. The discussion was the banning of hydroxychloroquin for the treatment of COVID. These doctors said hydroxy should have never been banned. It was used safely for decades and was inexpensive. There have been other researchers that have questioned the safety of the current vaccine which is not made up of virus material like other vaccines in the past.

Fauci is a political hack. I trust nothing he says. His messages change depending on who he’s trying to please.

A lot of people here discredit Dr. Fauci but have no replacement suggestions. So in the meanwhile wear a mask, socially distance, use hand sanitizer, and get your shots. I'm sick of this past year.

The drug you tout, I have taken for a number of years....it served me well....Rhumatoid Arthritis....it also has been used for years on malaria. As a result of preaching about this from the "pulpit" there was a "run" on the drug by many simpletons, and I was unable to have my prescription filled (also our government spent millions to stock pile the drug)

There are no short cuts

I don't trust Fauci or any of the Covid numbers. There are too many false positive tests. The numbers who died from Covid are skewed. Heart attacks, cancer patients in hospice, etc. considered a Covid death. 🤬🤬
