Hope this comes through

Thanks for the picture ... there doesn't appear to be any swelling at all.
Did it hurt? Did you also get eye liner?

Just had my brows and eyes done 4 days ago. I love it. Some swelling and discomfort, but tolerable. Sherri did a great job. My first tattoo too and I'm wearing it on my face.

You had your eye liner done also? Bravely done! Did you have a choice of brown or black?

I cannot imagine having anyone do a tattoo so close to my eyeball, especially if it hurts. Do they do allergy testing first?

I had my eyelids and eyebrows done by Judy at Making Faces in Summerfield. She was wonderful. Hardly any pain. Crusty eyebrows for a week or 2. Nothing terrible.

No swelling. I did not get the eye liner. I don't wear eye make up

Eyebrows

So glad to see this post popup..I wrote it back in April and still haven't gotten my permanent eyebrows..but Iam still looking to have it done..maybe this winter won't be in the pool as much..I just saw in the Recreation News the All About Healthy Skin club on Dec 10th at 7PM at Truman Rec Center the guest speaker will be Kris Carroll, a permanent make-up artist will be talking..I put it on my calendar and hope to be able to speak to her. I have seen her ad in the Daily Sun..but if anyone has had this done I would appreciate your input..Thanks

Looks great. I went to Making Faces, Linda in Summerfield. Also very good work

I had the eyeliner done too. I am allergic to the red dye in colors. They did mine in black. No problem. I absolutely love it. Going for touch up in January. Not touching up eyebrows, just eyeliner. Yes, hurt a little.

I heard that Merle Norman Cosmetics next to Belk's also does them but at a cost of $300.00....I have had mine done twice - once in Orlando and also NJ-they fade out completely after a few years. Let me know how it goes....HINT: Ask your MD to call you in a prescription of Lidocaine cream to numb your eyebrows before you go....!!

I sent you a PM asking a lot of questions, I hope that's OK. I'm a huge chicken.

I searched for this thread as I have had eyebrows and eyeliner for some 8+ yrs now and was wondering if i should get touch ups before moving or after....

My original gal moved to Dallas, so I am looking for someone local
before we move.

I appreciate all the names of the people local to TV, in case I just can't find someone before our move.

In my case, the eyeliner has been fantastic!!! Love waking up with some color. The eyebrows also great.

I "was" a natural redhead and had very fair-blonde ish eyebrows. One I had them tatooed, they were visible and "framed" my eyes nicely.

They do appear darker for the first 2 weeks and fade a bit as the skin sloughs off, as expected after the procedure. My artist had me come back in 2 months for touch up and then at 2 yrs. Her work was very natural. No look of heavy eyebrow pencil (magic marker) at all.

She works with many alopecia patients who have lost all their hair and her work was beautiful!!

You should find someone there (Sherry, Linda or Judy are the names I have made note of) who can show you before and afters. You can then see what their style is.

Most of the tattoo guns they use now for permanent cosmetics are very good with light strokes that resemble individual hairs.

Ask lots of questions!!! I know I will. And i won't mind the drive to Orlando to find the right person.....

it's worth it if done by the right person. I would go to Orlando if I were you, not local, especially not cal's
