Nonie, your adorable, but boyish figure?? NO WAY!!

I definitely prefer:

Main Entry: voluptuous
Synonyms: buxom, curvy, erotic, luscious, lush, sensual, sensuous, shapely, wanton

Thinking "erotic" sounds the best. What do you think, Nonie. Change your mind, girl!! I'm sure Ronda will agree with me!! God, I love the thesaurus, makes me feel so good, better than Dickionary.com, huh!

OMG, I massacred the spelling of volumptuous too. Glad you all knew what the heck I was talking about. Hard to believe but I was an A student in spelling.

Anyway back to the title of this thread!

Today I layed down with my 4 yr. old grandaughter to take a nap. Just before she fell asleep she wispered in my ear " grammie, I love you so much".

So now Im going to be asking others in this forum How do you leave the grandkids? And just a few months ago I was giving advice to others telling them, you gotta live your life, blah blah blah. This advice sure is comming back to haunt me. :'(

Oh Nonie, I so identify. When my Granddaughter lost a Great grandparent, the somberness of the occasion made an impression on her. A week after the funeral she took my face in both her little 5 year old hands and said "Grammie, I love you so much. When you die I'm going to put flowers on you everyday." I laughed at her sweet words, kissed her and fervently wished that she be quite old when this little scenario takes place!

Nonie, the grands will visit. Mine visits for 3 weeks in the summer and several times during the rest of the year. I also go back to Pa 3-4 x per year to see her. You'll be fine. They also grow up and don't need you as much.

I spent a glorious day with my 3 year old grandson today...in fact, he spent the night last night. We played at the park, drank milk shakes at Johnny Rockets, and read books at Barnes & Noble. We played "cars" and "airplanes" with his new books, put together jigsaw puzzles, watched cartoons, played peek a boo, swatted flies that got into the house, and tickled each other while laughing all the while.

It was a day to remember!

Talked to my Mom up in Michigan and she told me that she and my Dad were called today by Honor Flight and will be flying to Washington DC on 7/26, all expenses paid, to see their WWII Memorial. They are both Veterans of WWII...My Dad in the Army and my Mom a WAVE (Navy) I cried...and am still crying...that at ages 90 and 86, they are going to get to see and experience this beautiful Memorial. I read about this program in The Parade magazine in the Sunday Daily Sun a year or so ago and got all the information and got them registered...with the help of my sister up in Michigan. If you want to see what this wonderful organization does, go to www.honorflight.org...and while you're there, send in a donation so that they can continue to honor our country's heros who gave so much (some gave ALL) for our freedom. 040 I am sooooo happy for them. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

What a wonderful honor JKP. My best to your parents! My inlaws are the same age and I know how thrilled they would be if it were them. Tell your mom and dad congratulations and I hope they have a memorable experience...which I'm sure they will.

One of our grandsons is graduating from high school this weekend. Its hard to believe he is grown up and will be off to college this fall. I found a picture of him when he was a baby, sitting in the bathtub with his play toys, and I got pretty misty eyed. He's grown into such a nice young man. I feel pretty lucky!

Went to KB's for brunch with a good friend and ate my whole day's calories at one sitting! Then met up with 11 other old and new friends for dinner. It was a memorable day...one I enjoyed very much!
