The following courses are closed for Bunker Sand Renovation.

Mangrove
Palmetto
Sweetgum

Any idea how long that takes? A week, a month, six months?

Depends on the extent of the renovation. A couple of years ago my country club up north renovated the bunkers by digging them out, and then adding gravel, drainage lines, and a full concrete liner before adding the sand on top. Drains water very quickly, but you got to be sure to have plenty of sand over that liner. Perhaps here they are only dumping fresh sand in the bunkers.

Months it that’s all they are doing, usually some green repair also ?

Never understood why replace sand in bunkers on golf courses. Total waste of money. It’s hazard not Miami Beach. O wait not nice and white anymore. And wonder why golf courses maintenance in millions dollars.
