Question is, will any of us Villagers be alive to see this?

"hearing" is not your problem but all right. The US Dollar is the biggest Ponzi on earth.

Your fiat accounts will eventually be hacked...Your gold will eventually be stolen (even "legally" stolen. See the act of political terrorism refered to as Executive Order 6102). You can carry Bitcoin in your head anywhere on earth. Bitcoin can fork to SHA512 in the future. It takes a huge amount of energy and compute power just to break one key - as well as blockchain latency. Good Luck! There is a 1M Bitcoin reward waiting for you!

Real estate suffers from property tax (which is basically rent paid to law-n-jail backed parasites - Modern Feudalism/Serfdom) and entropy ...maybe that's cool to you.

It's the nice profits after taxes that please us. We realize there are those who haven't figured out how to do that. To each their own.

O comparing to drug cartels. It’s all Ponzi scheme if on outside and don’t have inside trading information or wealthy enough to manipulate stocks. 1% control stock market selling millions stock causing the market to drop, then buy back when get low enough been going on for 40 years plus.

"Land Banking" has worked well (ARR) for the last 50 years...The untethered-to-gold fiat has to go somewhere. I think both bonds and real estate are going bear now. What if real estate adjusts to it's utility value? A true depreciating asset not propped up by fiat inflation.

It's more like the 0.0001%. It is easy to volatility wash assets if you control the fiat counterfeit racket. For example, the fiat currency terrorists have been manipulating gold price to the point where there is probably 10X more paper gold than above ground gold. The gold price use to be set twice per day (by decree) in the City of London. We will see if they are able to volatility wash Bitcoin...They won't be able to long term. The fiat Ponzi has been going on for hundreds of years. The USA markets have been obviously/admittedly manipulated since October 1987.

There is only so much land available for housing and now with huge tracks of land being devoured for data centers there's even less available. Millions of people have been allowed in this country making housing tighter than it's ever been. My money is on real estate.
