Rubicon, when I ask "him" that question I want a really honest answer ............. don't let me leave this house looking like an hot mess! There is a really nice way of doing it ...........

Honey, you know I think you look great, but that really does not do much for you, I prefer you in etc. etc. ..............

.......... and, by the way, I do the same to him. "Are you really going out in that, hmmm". Works every time.

MA - you know, in the South, being called a "hot mess" could be considered a real compliment. And the there is also a "smoking hot mess."

:bigbow: Unfortunately, in my age group being called a "hot mess" just means you look like something pulled through a hedge backwards, and as for "smoking hot mess", that means you had a cigarette hanging out of your mouth while they pulled you through a hedge backwards!!!

That's quite funny. But I would never say that to a woman no matter what the situation unless maybe someone forced some truth serum down my throat.

A Little Update on Harlow and DDRR.

I am getting less careful about what I say at Doggie Doo Run Run around Harlow. That's the pooch that would get very protective of his female owner whenever I came close especially when I wanted to visit with Harlow's owner's friend who I was trying to get to know a lot better. It just seems to be Harlow and his owner now.

Harlow is a lot better behaved though now. I had mentioned Harlow quite a bit a few months ago. Harlow is the pit bull/boxer mix that I was worried about changing what bathroom I would be going into at future dates due to a very unwelcome kind of surgery. He comes up at the jawline about equal to a man's hips. I am still being careful around Harlow though.

It does help to have retired and working law enforcement officers at Doggie Doo Run Run and they are quick to step in and take a stand on some issue or another. And they usually document stuff with their phones if need be and talk to the DDRR owners if necessary.
