I'm not seeing dead people, but I'm seeing NOTHING but white.

3 inches per hour right now - NOTHING but a winter wonderland.

Reference post 1483. There is Nothing that is white that needs that much measuring except snow or white sand.

It would be worse to hear dead people. Ethyl to Tilly, come in Tilly!:icon_wink: From what TV show?

I Love Lucy too! :coolsmiley: NOTHING like the old shows.

We are all home and safe, so really, I'm not complaining - well, at least not until the electricity goes out. Then I'll be NOTHING but complaining, but at least you won't have to hear it. Well maybe just for a little bit 'til my battery dies......:icon_wink:

Honey said, “What’s for supper?”

Me: NOTHING!

It would be NOTHING but a good investment too get a generator Abby. I have one, thankfully I haven't had too use it, but I keep it run'in like a top & ready to go....

We do have one but not a whole house generator. It will handle a few important things like frig, our fireplace fan to keep the downstairs warm, some lights, etc, but definitely not the heat pump system. But it's better to have that than the NOTHING we had for many years before finally getting one. Of course, since we got it the electric hasn't been going out as much. Just like when we finally bought a snow blower......isn't it just the way it always works.....at least at our house it is. But not complaining, better to be safe than sorry.

Anyway, storm seems to be over and we are fully operational so I will sleep soundly tonight.

Yes, NOTHING for supper is never a good thing. That's when you say, "Hey, honey, I'd like to take you out for supper tonight." :)

Speaking of which, is supper vs dinner a regional thing? Growing up in western PA we always called it supper, but in eastern PA it's dinner. In western PA it's pop and in eastern PA it's soda. I think western PA is more mid-western in its ways, whereas eastern PA is obviously more east coast.

What do all you NOTHINGS have to say about that? Dare I even ask that question......lol

No, but I bet you've thought of saying that at one point or another when it was your turn to cook. It's just that you probably knew saying NOTHING was not going to go well for you.....lol

We called in supper unless family were staying or we were staying for “dinner” at grandma’s house , then it was dinner. You can’t make this stuff up , my parents weren’t even NOTHINGS. Talking about parents, if I told my mother I was a NOTHING she’d slap me silly. If I told my father I was a NOTHING he’d take me out to throw a football for an hour, at full speed he would throw it and I’d better catch it without trying to protect my private’s with an uplifted knee.
