Fowl -- Ouch! LOL

Nothing but Southern Fried Chicken and Margaritas would be a nice way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

I had something like that in Reno, Nevada and can only remember how cute the Lutheran pastor's daughter was and not for NOTHING.

I am still a Lutheran but have trouble accepting some of their ideas so I cherry pick from other denominations. https://www.firstthings.com/blogs/fi...predestination

I can see that God would know what you are going to do in the future as well as everything you did in the past but cannot accept that he or she controls those actions. We have Free Will in other words.

And if some tidal wave or other calamity-- like 9/11 -- occurs God sees millions if not billions of years into the past and future so our minds are just too limited to understand what's going on there. And not for NOTHING. What are space and time?

Almost nothing left in my pitcher of margaritas.........but what the hell.............here I go:

I can see that God would know what you are going to do in the future as well as everything you did in the past but cannot accept that he or she controls those actions. We have Free Will in other words.

God knows all, but does not control actions......U R right, God gave us free-will.

I hope my blender is still working.

I used to drink a lot of those with my U of Denver library school buddies. Margaritas. Have not done much of any drinking since then. Remember one student, Lucy, was from Florida and she was often quite cold in Denver and not for NOTHING.

That would be if I moved to Denver. Loved the mountains.

My daughter did a semester in Colorado Springs. After graduation, a couple years in TX. Now back in Denver. Loving it. Hoping she has nothing to do with The Pot.

Been watching the movie Glass very carefully. I had seen it before at the movie theater but now I get a chance to really get a careful look at the details. NOTHING but very interesting.

Loved The Sixth Sense but some of his other movies were not all that good. M. Night Shyamalan - Rotten Tomatoes

One of my all-time favorite restaurants...is in Denver.

Buckhorn Exchange (poke here)

Then again, it's only been open for NOTHING more than 126 years, so hurry...as it may be closing any day soon now. :1rotfl:

What a lot of people don't realize, is that in spite of what one might think, Denver doesn't really get all that much snow in the winter...or even gets cold for very long.

And when it does snow...it can be gone a few of days later.

Adam Sandler last night on Saturday Night Live said that he had not been on there in 24 years and was 24 lbs lighter then and not for NOTHING.

His movies sure have done well and I have enjoyed most of them. Adam Sandler - Rotten Tomatoes

He is NOTHING but one funny guy! Makes me think back to the amazing amount of times our youngest son made us watch Big Daddy with him. Great guy and his 4 Billion Dollar payoff at the end of his song was great! Maybe Saturday Night Live is Going in a better direction now.

I would not say that. Saturday Night Live used to be very funny but now seems only amusing once in a while. It was pretty good last night though. And not for NOTHING.

I really liked The Waterboy of Sandler's movies. The Waterboy (1998) - Rotten Tomatoes

And Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore (1996) - Rotten Tomatoes

I have seen Big Daddy too a number of times. Big Daddy (1999) - Rotten Tomatoes
