The Villages FL-Directions To Stores, Shopping, Events

You should try Buffalo Barber Shop in Palm Ridge Plaza off of CR101 and just north of CR 466. I do go to Cal's once in a while too. They are NOTHING but closer to US 441/27. Home

I usually would go to the Cal's in Sumter Landing though.

Not unless you can be a groupie while you're still in grammar school - lol. The years they were together did get me to my high school years so by then, yes, I guess I was a groupie. So much for your  - that wasn't a hit on my age was it, youngster? Obviously I need to check in here more often to keep an eye on you. :icon_wink:

It was my grandmother actually who bought every single Beatles album for my sibs, cousins, and me to enjoy. I think she was just as fascinated by the British Invasion as the younger generation at the time. In reality, I think my "old school" grandmother (never saw her in anything but a dress and almost always with an apron on, hair in a bun on top of her head, no make-up) was really NOTHING but a life-long hipster under that very modest, unassuming exterior. :1rotfl: All I know is we all loved being with her!

I can't even relate how much your (MY) mind can NOTHING but goof with you. We have been through a lot and I don't really recall being as spooked as this time around. Our Gastro Dr is Doctor George, Another Total Top Drawer Winner. A Miracle. So outta all the specialist's the Primary Doctor has sent us to we only have had one Dud. I'll take it. Even the day we had to deal with The Villages Hospital was way different from what I've read on our Forum. I think their Quantity of Customers may affect the care you get. Ours was Top Drawer. I don't doubt one story I've read as people were sharing their own experiences and the way they felt about their care.

I've been making more than the run of the mill occasional errors. Hard to concentrate when your head is elsewhere. So its good to be back. Already have 3 plus hours in the pool and things are looking up and outta the entire crew in The Villages, I without a doubt am the most Grateful Person here today. All I have to do is stay that way. Later Gators. Peace Out.

This is NOTHING but a great post on which to call it a day. So happy that your fears have been erased and you can get back to living the dream that is TV. I just feel grateful to have been here today to share in the joy of this moment.

Good night to all my NOTHING buddies. You guys are truly a great bunch and I'm blessed to be able to call you friends.

NOTHING but yard work today. Get to try out my new walk behind weed whacker. I can't wait to get to TV. I'll be able to cut my lawn with scissors in less time than it takes me to mow my current lawn with a 60" mower.. lol

That is true. Many people hire one of the many lawn services here in the Villages and have next to NOTHING to worry about except maybe losing nap time when they show up.

That's funny, Tal.

My husband just yesterday suggested NOTHING but a new way for us both to get exercise. Since we have 2 push mowers he said instead of him mowing the lawn with the riding mower, why don't we do it together using both push mowers.

My response - you mean when we move to The Villages, right? :1rotfl:

A very few of the lawn servers in the Villages use push mowers and probably only NOTHING when their riding mowers are broken.

I did have a friend who lived in Parkwood with her daughter. The friend had a push mower and I did offer to come over and watch her mow but she did not go for that. I was kind of joking. She moved out of the Villages and have not heard from her since 2017 or so. Maybe because of comments of mine like that one. I used to see her almost daily at the dog park but her pit bull mix Jade got too aggressive for the owners and they kicked her and her gal pal out around March of 2017. Her gal pal also had a dog Harlow which was starting to play rough.

Did visit with these two women often.

I doubt if either look at NOTHING though. And her daughter might have graduated from high school. Not sure. Very nice person in the daughter. Smart and well behaved and often had a nice smile for me and my dog Beau seemed to really like her and her mother, Jade's owner. Jade's owner was/is a blonde nurse from KY who had been married to a lawyer.
