NOTHING but a no returns policy. That's why they start out cute because if you got them as teenagers the earth would still be populated with dinosaurs.

You guys are too funny. I used to say I never worried about someone kidnapping my son. It would be a toss-up between whether he would be more trouble than it was worth or his ability to talk his way out of anything at a very young age. It was interesting to say the least dealing with a kid who was like an adult when he was only a toddler. My husband and I would be attempting to "manage" a situation and halfway through we'd just end up looking at each with this look of "what the heck do you do or say to that?!?" Lol

Anyway, call it mother's intuition, but I must have felt something was amiss today to go off on this tangent. My son just came in and said he got a place of his own and will be moving out. No huge surprise, it's been a year and at least he will still be local compared to his last move 10 hours away. So it's NOTHING but one of those moments - feel a little melancholy or jump for joy? I think the pendulum is swinging toward jump for joy on this one.......Hubby and I have been feeling like we need our privacy back. So :a040:

When we decided to move here I was little torn because we would be changing from a 3 hour drive to see my grandson to a 3 hour plane ride. I am glad that we did it however because my daughter and her family moved this year and now it is a 2 hour flight either way. You can't live your life for your children because NOTHING changes in an instant.

You are NOTHING but right. I know my son will probably never move anywhere that doesn't have an accessible airport and the same for us so that's all that really matters. When he moved to Indy and was there for 5 years, he wanted us to think about moving out there. I said "no way, jose" - not because I didn't like it out there but I knew the potential for him to move was greater than he even realized. Sure enough he's back here but for how long?

I get it, believe me. We can't base our decisions on him. Besides, I have a bet to win!

I think I got most of what you all was a laying on down today. As far as the children thing goes I have made up for any shortcomings I may have had when the kids were growing up. You either work too much to provide or you're a bum because you don't. Looking in the rearview mirror for deer I've already passed is useless but I'm guilty of peeking sometimes, this applies to regrets, pardon me but screw that. My wife said the song for my life should be My Way by Frankie Boy! Scooby-Doobie Doo!!

As far as sending the kids back I think I could send them Back as long as NOTHING happens to the grandchildren. Plus it's fun to play with the box they were shipped in. OUCH! 3 Hail Mary's & 5 Our Fathers should cover that! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

Nucky is going to hell now! :ohdear:
