Good Morning Sweet Nothings (the few remaining),

No I have not forsaken you. I have been sans a computer for the past week. OMG -- talk about withdrawal symptoms! I have decided that I would give up my car before my computer! Truly.

My 12 year old MacBook just "died" out of the blue. It's been rough not having it. I knew I was an addict but didn't really appreciate how much I use if for -- EVERYTHING.

The good news is I learned that BEST BUY is now (not sure when it started) an authorized Mac dealer. You can buy a Mac (same price as from Apple) and if you buy the Apple Care (which I would not be without) -- you can get the same service through the Best Buy Geek Squad or you can call Apple as usual. I called Best Buy and Apple (2x each) to verify that there was no difference to Apple if I bought from Best Buy. I am now a happy camper!

Good to NOTHING but see you back. My DELL computer died recently too but am using a backup. It takes getting used to though.

Had the Dell about 10 years or so.

Ha -- we ate there for the first time a couple of days ago. I had the most delicious Grouper Italiano (it was really, really good). Mike had a pasta dish with some sort of beef stew (Italian style) on top. He liked his dish as well. Th menu is quite different from Giovanni's -- where we continue to rave about the fried Calamari. (Not too crazy about the rest of Giovanni's menu.) I have found that no one around here sells top of the line Veal so I am going to stop ordering Veal Parm and next time opt for nothing less than Chicken Parm. I'd rather have good chicken over bad Veal.

I am NOTHING but keeping my chins up. There are 16 people in our little gang and all but one live in a Manufactured House. They have been here much longer than us and they are having a good laugh 😂 over my Storm Concerns. I’ve done all I can do and just have to accept that this is the Price For The Life We Have Chosen. The storm that is warming us up for the Main Event that is happening this second is just amazing. We’ll make the correct move at the time we choose and will pay the price for waiting to bail if that’s the way we go.

We got a few offers to camp out with TOTV’S friends. Is that NOTHING but a beautiful thing or what? I believe in Karma and there is proof it exists. NOTHING but a Extra Beautiful Thing. I’m so Grateful. We are looking after a friend who has a Site Built Home 🏡 so that may be the way we go.

I’m picking up The Big Boss in Orlando tomorrow so whatever she says will be the way it goes.

Grateful for the offers. I’m touched And it ain’t easy to get me to tear up but you got me today. Bless You!

NOTHING but no luck getting gas but did get my parents' vodka. So the trip in the really heavy rain at 2:15 to 3:15 PM was not a total loss. One gas station just had premium and the other one the card charger seemed frozen. Could not get it to do anything.

I doubt if we would find a safer place than the Villages in this storm though unless we traveled up past FL-GA-SC. Even then NOTHING is certain for Dorian.

Don't try to play Superman. If the predicted winds look like they're going to be above what your home is rated for you had better NOTHING but beat feet to your friend's house. And don't wait til the last minute either.

I'm glad momma will be home by then. Just one less thing to worry about.

I just looked at Accuweather for Lake County and am NOTHING but going to try to go back to sleep.
