We're storing it for my neighbor (and good friend - they're like family). His wife is away and he'll be picking her up in a few hours at the airport. He didn't want to keep it in their garage because he was afraid his daughter would squeal. When he dropped it off yesterday before he and my husband went to Camden to do their ministry work, I said "Aren't you going to leave me the keys?" He laughed and walked away - jerk!! Lol You got me about why it's red. Why? Can you post it on here or is it NOTHING but naughty? :ohdear: Actually when my son saw it and asked me about it and I told him dad had gotten it for me for Mother's Day, he didn't fall for it for a minute. He knows his father all too well.....lol |

My hubby isn't a lover of BMW's either but he drove this thing and loved the ride, especially compared to his '60 corvette which he rarely takes out of the garage. I keep trying to talk him into getting rid of that thing and get an updated convertible instead, something he can really enjoy more regularly, but he's so darn stubborn. Maybe he'll change his mind after this. |

Just finished watching NOTHING but The Green Book! Wow! What a great movie. Lot's of feelings.
The car was RED so the DEERS could see you tooling down the road. Besides when you get down to the Earthly Promised Land I think a MINI COOPER Covertriple would be a great car for you. You were on the lamb when I got my Ultra Magnificent Keurig Turbo Coffee Maker Complete with a Lifetime supply of Pacific Bold K-Cups. I am going to hook it up to brand new plumbing so I never have to bother filling the water tank. I'm very serious about coffee. The only thing that may goof me up a little is WAWA is opening just outside The Gate Of Golf Cart Controversy over on this side of Our Little Paradise. It's a thrill to surprise the Wifey with new cars, I've done it twice. It was a VW Bug around 1999 & a 2003 Pepper White & Black Roof Mini. Felt great. It is better to give than receive. But enough time has passed and I'm ready to receive now! Just kidding! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: There will be a Yugo in the garage tomorrow. |
Hubby and I NOTHING but loved Green Book too. Lot of feelings is right and the fact that it was based on a true story always makes a movie extra-special. We could relate to the Italian family scenes and interactions. After the holiday scene when they showed all of the family around the table and everyone was talking at the same time and the noise level was LOUD, I turned to my husband and said "Gee it feels like we just visited with your family" - lol.
When a movie can make you both really laugh and cry, it's a good one in my book. |
So everything just died in our house. Well, no people, but all of a sudden everything just went totally black. Sure glad hubby just got home a bit ago. Never heard the power go out so quietly as it just did.......very eerie.....like in a scary movie or something. I mean it just went from light to pitch black. See, if I didn't have my cell phone right now, I'd have NOTHING!

Since it sounds like the power might not be restored until tomorrow sometime, I guess I better say NOTHING more and sign off to conserve some power on this thing. Good night everyone!
