Spoiler 02-22-2020 05:21 AM

Well well well, and my luck continues... I decided to open up the window about 10 minutes ago and take in some fresh air while awaiting my daily dose of newsworthy nuggets to get here.

Sitting there quietly in the ‘ole Bark-o-Lounger and I hear something coming around the bend. I flick on the light and about that time the newspaper comes a flying in the window and right into my open arms.

As surprised as I was, I remembered my Realtor telling us when we bought this place that whenever it is under 40 degrees the newspaper just gets delivered inside to you. Wow, nothing better than that.

I guess you are wondering where the “lucky” part comes in, right? .....Well as it seems like no one else on my street gets up as early as I do, theres quite a few panes of glass that need replacing now. But not here, we’re good.

Is this a great place to live or what?
:)

Went to the Target yesterday in Lady Lake. Have not been there in a few years it seems. NOTHING but to get a copy of the Blu-Rays of Parasite and Terminator: Dark Fate. Usually get these at a Walmart but am expanding my shopping horizons a bit.

This was after reaching 31 gallons at One Blood yesterday while watching about three episodes of N.C.I.S. This was for platelets. Whole blood nor the other kind of donations to do take that long. This is 31 gallons counting what I have given at One Blood or Florida Blood Centers as they used to be called from 2007 onward and before that at other places in other states over my life. So, that does not calculate in appointments at Life South nor Florida Blood Services from 2007- now. Even though I have not donated at Life South nor Florida Blood Centers since around 2013.

NOTHING but thanks. It is probably around 33 gallons actually counting the ones given to Florida Blood Services in Oldsmar and Palm Harbor, FL. on buses from 2007 through 2013 or so along with a few pints to Life South at Walmart or one of their other stores at Life South blood mobiles.

I gave One Blood my estimate of how many times I had donated in my life when I started there in 2007. They were going by Florida Blood Centers then.

February 23, 2020 8:55 AM EST cycle numbers from Saturday to Sunday on NOTHING.

This is the day between February 22 the birthday of my late cousin who passed in his sleep a few weeks ago at 60 in the Chicago area. He was born two days before me in 1959. We both were born when our mothers had some kind of illness which did bring about various problems in both our developments. I was born in Milwaukee on February 24, 1959. He was born in Chicagoland.

I had gone to movies and lunches with him in the Fall of 1994 in the Chicago area when I was taking care of my uncle before he went into a near by nursing home. My uncle was a WWII vet who had lost part of his skull, a leg and an arm from a tree burst from a German tank shell in the battle at Anzio, Italy. He Had been awarded a Silver Star for his bravery under heavy fire days before he was injured.

Sylvester Stallone - Rotten Tomatoes

I recall that my late cousin and I went to the very good The River Wild and the quite bad The Specialist. This is a Sharon Stone and Sylvester Stallone revenge movie. Sylvester Stallone - Rotten Tomatoes NOTHING but some good memories about Chicagoland.
