Davem must have come across the pics of the awesome place our family stayed at in the Outer Banks last year. Apparently the cousins are meeting up in an equally awesome place in OBX next week, but hubby and I are "stuck" here in TV instead. Sometimes life throws you difficult choices.....lol.

But, yes, davem, you're correct - NOTHING beats seeing those beautiful horses. We got to enjoy them each morning right outside our bedroom window. Thanks for stirring up some good memories. All the thunder and lightning we've had here in TV this week also reminded me of last year at OBX. We experienced a 1-2 hour long storm over the ocean from our place that was spectacular for those of us brave enough to watch it from the third floor. The rest of the gang went to the lower level and pulled all the blinds shut. NOTHING but a great vacation....

But let me add -

NOTHING beats being in TV. ☺

Was one of the long line of donors at the One Blood Parrot Head sponsored 9/11 drive at the United Covenant Church today. They had seven buses and from what I heard the Villages and surrounding people kept them busy and I recognized a few people from my rather long history with One Blood. Been doing blood donations since 2007 at One Blood or prior to that what they were called in this area-- Florida Blood Centers .

NOTHING but good to see so much concern for others being shown by the turnout today.

In a year or so, I'll be NOTHING but way more jealous of you....😉

Not to mention one dinner poorer - lol. But I shouldn't admit defeat yet. You never know...the race is still on and it seems to be tightening up.

According to a small article in The Villages Daily Sun today September 12, 2020 they had about 180 donors at 3 each on the 7 buses they had during the Villages Parrot Heads Club drive. NOTHING but quite busy given the Corona virus.

These buses usually have six or more blood donation stations but they were only using 50% for social distancing as the seats are rather close together. And not for NOTHING. Met a nice lady who told me about her 83 year old mother. I was explaining to her why I was doing a blood donation rather than a platelets one. Had to be home for longer periods because of a recent MOHS operation on my mother done by a very talented physician.

That is hilarious. You know that was between a certain woman without shoes and a DR. And that had gone on a long time and not for NOTHING.

NOTHING #s for the September 9-10, 2020 9:45 AM EST 24 hour cycle. This is Wednesday to Thursday.

Liked the nurse from KY-- a blonde-- because she seemed to believe me when I started talking about movies and the 224 613 Project and this was around late 2017. I even forgot to pick up my dog on the way home from the dog park. Remembered on the way home to get the little guy. So, I turned around. And she treated me well most of the time. Like someone with 4 degrees and who is not in the least mentally ill. She has a nursing degree. NOTHING goes on.

Also had mentioned to this Louisville lady that I had written "Yes! Of course" in French in response to a private Facebook message which asked me in French if they could be part of my thing. This was around July 15, 2016 that she had sent that. She was in a movie that came out in August of 2017. And not for NOTHING. I assumed that by "they" she meant Hollywood. She had been in another movie with a star whose parents used to live in the Villages and they might still live here.
