Are you all hung over from the holidays? Is everybody doing NOTHING but napping?

Or are we just trying to make a point to viewers today what NOTHING is really all about? Lol

I really can't wait to get back to NOTHING but normal, whatever that is. It sucks to walk around beat tired all day long and in indescribable pain.

Medication is not the answer, I was to lumped up today to even go to the Cement Pond.

I'm a grateful guy for my simple little life. Can't wait till it comes back. Maybe another couple of days. Lots of Water and Tylenol. Maybe I caught A little something from the little ones. :blahblahblah:

This NOTHING spent the day putting away Christmas decorations. If it weren't for my husband I wouldn't put up much and am always happy to put them away.

I've been nothing but binging all day. No, not food binging. Boomer made a recommendation on another thread and I've been swept up in Vanity Fair on Amazon Prime. Really enjoying it. (The plan to accumulate enough paper food for the cross shredder that should be delivered on Friday will just have to wait!). After all, isn't that what retirement is all about? Doing what you want, when you want?

Tomorrow is another day.

Medication has so many side effects. I only take blood pressure meds and I hate them.

Sorry to hear that, buddy. You have NOTHING but good reason to lay low for a few..........

I'm wondering if your back flare-up is from the long drive. I know it kills my husband's back. In fact, I forgot to tell you the story about his frozen balls - right down your alley, right? So he has been having some pretty bad issues with pain that runs across his left hip and a physical therapy friend of his gave him this thing that looks like the shape of a dog bone but instead of 2 flat ends it has 2 rounded ball shaped ends. It's made out of a hard rubber kind of material. Anyway, you freeze this thing and put it on your back where the pain is and it really helps between the coldness and the pressure it puts on the point of pain. So he decided to take it with us on our plane trip to Florida which was great because of the long wait at the airport. Anyway, coming home from the Orlando airport we were going through the checkpoint and you should have seen the look on the woman's face who was viewing the camera when his frozen balls went through. The agents then did a follow-up by taking his carry on apart and were equally curious as to what is was. We tried to explain but they said they really didn't care what it was, just wanting to confirm what it wasn't. Eventually, we all had a good laugh and they let us take it on the plane. My husband is always full of surprises like that. :ohdear:

I'm sorry to pull you both from all your fun. I was being NOTHING but selfish. I have an early bedtime tonight and I was just missing my NOTHING buddies.

I think that's NOTHING but a wonderful way to spend your day. I've binge watched a couple of series myself with great pleasure. It can be a great way to escape if you have the time. Unfortunately, I spent most of my day finishing cleaning for company tomorrow and running errands.

And btw, I like your attitude!

Actually, I think I NOTHING but already told that story.......sorry, guys. Forgetfulness is becoming too frequent of an event these days, but instead of blaming it on old-er age, I'm blaming it on stress. :o

Well, NOTHINGS, lucky for you, you won't have to put up with my forgetfulness and repetitive posts for a couple days at least. :ohdear: I was just trying to make our buddy, Nuckster, laugh. Hope you are feeling better soon, my friend. One of these days when we're moved down there maybe my hubby can help you through some of these difficult times. He's been dealing with it since he was in his 30's, without surgery or pain medicine, so I'd say he's pretty close to a pro at it. Some days I don't know how he does it though, poor guy.

Anyway, to explain - once I get home from my long work day today my aunt and uncle will have already arrived. They will leave the next day by noon, but my husband and I will be off to Philly to go to a previously scheduled appt and it will probably end up being a long day. Between my time with my aunt and uncle being so short and the trip into Philly, not sure whether I'll be back on Thursday night or Friday.

Hope you all have a great couple of days. Lest you forget, today is Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Whatever you do, don't forget your NOTHING! :icon_wink:
