Do you mean Edith Baines Bunker? That's Nothing but funny if that's who you speak of because I know someone just like that. Someone I'm close to when you tell her a joke that you almost peed when you heard it and you tell them and you get Nothing but quiet...Crickets. But she has the Heart and the Brains of Edith. A quiet leader. I know someone like Archie, harmless now that he's older.

Telling her a joke is like throwing a hand grenade. Pull the pin throw the grenade then sit and wait for the joke to compute. Sometimes funnier than the joke especially the ones from that new thread on here 80% stinko!

Yep, that's how Big Al recently started referring to me.....haha! My siblings would love it because I was supposed to be the "smart" one in the family but they could always set me up that way. When I was in college my guy friends would always tell other girls certain jokes but never me - usually jokes that were a little off color, I guess. When I would ask why, they would just say we couldn't tell YOU that. I always took it as a sign of respect because they thought of me as a "goody 2 shoes", but what do I know? :shrug: Obviously NOTHING.....lol!

Believe it or not, I am very flexible as far a kidding around. I am seldom out of line or over the line with the intensity of a joke. My main goal every day is to laugh and not be too serious. Sometimes I fail but it is Nothing but a goal. Some people have no sense and tell a rough joke in mixed company.

Like your siblings, there are some people I just clam up in front of because they have no clue how to have fun. I get the
