K, i need a whole paragraph for you. Most importantly, I hope your wife made it home safely and made it through work today okay. I take it she works long days like 10 or 12 hours. Hopefully she gets a chance to get caught up on her rest in between. She's had a busy couple of weeks. And as far as you go, you caused the drama by accusing me of trying to trick you by intentionally forgetting my NOTHING. I wouldn't do that..:( It's a good thing I have 2 adorable lap dogs here keeping me warm (btw, it's freezing up here) and soothing my hurt feelings over such a terrible accusation or I would be NOTHING but :boxing2: you.

Otherwise, all is good up here. I made my sister go on a walk with me because we ate bad stuff for dinner.

Sorry. You may not get a paragraph out of me. Someone ran over the phone box out on the road. Took out the phone and internet on this side of the lake. So I’m posting from my cell phone.

Mrs. K made it home and marched on through her day at work. Yes she works 10’s. She was NOTHING but pooped when she got home. She’s out on the couch now. lol

Look. Just for you two paragraphs.

Awww.......I feel better now, thanks. Glad Mrs K is doing okay. She had to be exhausted. Sorry to hear about your outage......NOTHING but frustrating especially when your fingers are too big for your phone - lol. Hope you get things back up and running soon. Talk to you and the rest of the gang in the morning.

This time of year used to be very depressing for me. Instead of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas I saw dead trees, cold and snow. I love NOTHING better than living in Florida, spring, summer, fall and especially winter.

fw102807 09-28-2018 06:15 AM

Tom Tom Tom we need a word and the word is NOTHING. Hope you are ok.

You are right, fw, saying a prayer that tomwed is okay. I was so concerned about my own fate here, I neglected to mention tom in my post earlier. That's what happens when you get too caught up in yourself, you forget about others in your NOTHING life that you care about - not good. Sorry, tomwed. Like fw says, just posting one word lets us know that you are at least out there somewhere and can see how much we care about you and miss you.

Today is Friday, September 28th. I was going to say all is back to normal in NOTHINGVILLE until fw reminded me it's not.

You're the best, fw.

Going back to your weather post, can't wait to be in the same boat you are in. Believe me when I say, you missed NOTHING up here this summer either. We had maybe 1 or 2 weeks of good weather through the entire spring and summer months. It was rain, rain, rain and then mostly hot and high humidity. It was downright depressing. My husband is used to be outside a lot. I think that's part of the reason he has not been himself, but it has also become more of an incentive for him to want to move as much as I do. Now all we have to look forward to is as you say dead trees, cold and snow. The only good thing to me is the beauty of a fresh snowfall but we all know how long that lasts so it may as well be NOTHING.

For me even this is NOTHING, white is not my favorite color. As my grandson will tell you Grammy likes green.

I have not seen snow since 1994 in Illinois. So, some white would be nice for a change but just as long as I could get out of it quickly. I could do NOTHING the New Year's Eve of 1983 as I spent 2 hours of it stuck in a snow bank outside of Cheyenne, WY.

Well, a good thing you're in Florida and not Arizona or Texas if green is NOTHING but your favorite. I will say you'd see a LOT of green up this way this year. Everything is so overgrown from the rain, it's like a jungle! By now, further north where I am currently, the leaves would be changing and it should have been a beautiful drive up. But instead, NOTHING is changing. In fact, because of all the rain it looks like everything is just going to turn brown and die this year. This weather is nuts. Driving up here I realize what they mean when they say "swollen river". It appears to be like that all over PA. Flood warnings today here.

Abby10 09-28-2018 07:54 AM

This question is for K when he gets on here. Are you not visiting TV in May now? I saw earlier where you said you and Mrs K won't be back to Disney until 2020. Maybe because of your big trip to Australia this year? You guys haven't checked TV out yet, have you? If not, you are missing a lot more than NOTHING. Heck, if you wait long enough just to check it out, you'll be able to stay with me and my husband. Forget the lifestyle visit, we're cheaper. You will have to take us out to dinner though - lol.

As long as you would have nowhere to go and NOTHING to do and are comfy and cozy inside, not in a snow bank, it wouldn't be too bad. :)

I'm NOTHING but with GRAMMY. The thought of the big storms in Florida is far outweighed by missing the dreaded winter season which some of our neighbors in The Villages seem to miss? To each their own but like I said I'm with GRAMMY. I got named Poppa somehow by the first Grandchild. Not what I hoped for but it could have been worse, he really doesn't know me that well yet!

We went back last year I believe in March and couldn't believe how the cold affected us. Goodbye and Good Riddance, Snow Blowers, Shovels, Chest Pains, Ice Melter, Transporting Gasoline Cans In The Car, Slipping and Falling Each Year. Thank's For The Memories! :blahblahblah:

It doesn't look like we'll be able to fit in a trip to FL in 2019. NOTHING but too many other things going on. With the Australia trip taking up most of March, May is certainly out of the question. No way the hospital would give Mrs. K that much time off. There's a slight chance we'll get there in December but the odds are on January 2020.

No we haven't been to TV yet but are really looking forward to it. And thank you for the offer to shack up with you. But if we have to wait for you and hubby to move there before we make our visit we might have to wait until 2025.. lol

I like it when it snows for NOTHING but the simple fact it makes for some great entertainment when people try to drive in it. any more than three inches of snow just about cripples this state.. :1rotfl:

Kenswing 09-28-2018 09:21 AM

As you can tell by my longer than one sentence posts that they got the damage from last night's assault on the phone wires fixed.. NOTHING but a drunk off the road into a ditch to wipe out everything..

Nucky 09-28-2018 09:33 AM

I would love to know why when we are perfectly happy, safe and content where we are and even though I know it's a cake walk to move in Florida and the price of closing is just crumbs compared to Jersey The harmless rides we take at night with destination unknown inside The Villages has a profound effect on NOTHING but yours truly. I truly don't like to delay gratification. Momma asked for a two-year hiatus with the moving thing. I can see her point and she has been a real Sport and Angel for the last twenty years so for now we sit and wait. The timeframe of two years was mentioned. I think its time to just chill and enjoy instead of wanting to be "in the game". I am a Villager and so is the Mrs. Nucky, I have to learn to chill, quickly.

Nothing else on my mind. Carry on!

I'm sure if you find the perfect house that she falls in love with the two year moratorium will NOTHING but go out the window. When the time is right you'll both know it..

On that note.. Off to work I go..

Don't feel bad about the poor drunk running off the NOTHING road. It happens here often.

I can't believe you haven't been here yet. The difference between bringing 4 million and 5 million is just a million. Forget about it, fold up the operation and come on already. This joint needs more people like you. You Big Nothing...:1rotfl:...I hope you don't change your mind to the Kangaroo Court in Australia!

If you do have to wait it will be worth it even if its a killer to wait a long time. NOTHING but the best to you and the Mrs.

3 inches is NOTHING but a dusting, 3 to 4 ft was the norm for us and some times it continued to snow until April or May.

I agree. It sounds like you have not completely nailed down exactly what you want or where you want to be. When you find what you want NOTHING will stop you.

Hey, Nucky, maybe by the time you and the Mrs are looking for a new abode, we will be too. Who knows? Wouldn't that be NOTHING but fun? We could caravan around TV in our golf carts looking at different neighborhoods and open houses and comparing notes along the the way. Maybe we'll even find a good place for Mr and Mrs K. And then he can buy all of us dinner........lol

Nothing but adult supervision is what I need. I may be a little impulsive at times. It happens. All I have to do is stay off of Realtor.com & The Villages Site. Don't like Trulia & Zillow at all. It has happened so many times. Just looking at the houses and the next thing you know we're packing. The only house we had a rough time with was the one we had to sell to get here.

When we got back and looked at Fenney again it got me all stirred up! Nothing but trouble. :ohdear:

I love Fenney. The new build areas are really shaping up nicely and there are so many options in the newer homes. NOTHING but fun to see all the changes going on. Hubby and I recently decided to spend our birthdays in TV this year which will be early December. I'm sure we'll be doing a lot of looking around at the new areas plus checking out all the Christmas decorations throughout TV. Can't wait!

Did that with a group of neighbors in December of 2016. My "date" was a neighbor who used to be a school administrator and has a large collection of old paddles. You do want to do NOTHING to get on her bad side. A different neighbor and I had our pictures taken by Villages Daily Sun photographer George H., who had been taking pictures of the favorite place of many for the Christmas display south of CR466. This is Dunkirk Trail. 2017 Christmas Lights Display on Dunkirk Trail - YouTube

Yep. That's what I'm looking forward to the most. I've been wanting to do this for years. Our lifestyle visit was in December, years ago, but it rained a lot during that time and we really didn't know about all the places to go to see Christmas decorations back then.

I didn't even ask off from work, I told them. Hopefully, I have a job when I get back. If not, oh well, NOTHING but a win-win either way, right?

The video that Tal posted is the most amazing spot in TV but there was a lot of trouble with traffic last year. I hope it does not spoil it for this year as it would be NOTHING but a shame.

We got out of the golf cart train we had and walked around their neighborhood. Also drove by about 20 other hot spots of lights in the Southern Part of the Villages. At least the Southern Part in 2016 or so. NOTHING to see in some neighborhoods, but quite a lot in others.

Kenswing 09-28-2018 07:44 PM

NOTHING going on tonight?

Nucky 09-28-2018 07:48 PM

Dunkirk is an absolute must. Just floating around with no plan is the way to go. I love Christmas in The Villages. The Tree Lighting is better at the square than the NYC Tree Lighting because your not colder than a hookers heart! And there is a better chance you won't get pickpocketed her because of Arthur. That's Arthuritis. You won't be disappointed.
