Old girlfriend's birthday is October 12 and have been thinking of sending her an e-mail but may just send her some nice thoughts. She was my student in Legal Assistance to MN Prisoners then asked me to move in with her as she had a extra room in her apartment and I was looking for a place. Instant girlfriend but it took a while as she had some serious issues to deal with unfortunately but I have great memories of October 12 and not for NOTHING. That and a red dress she had on. Took her on a dinner train ride in Stillwater back on October 12, 1989. She argued with our fellow train traveler most of the trip as he hated lawyers. She graduated from the U of MN Law School in 1990 and started clerking for a judge while remaining a pen pal of mine until she married around 1993. Zephyr Dinner Train in Stillwater, Minnesota I would like her to take a gander at some stuff online though. She is very high up as a court administrator in another state other than MN or FL. She was extremely familiar with me and my life story and may still be. She does not do Facebook like many of the women I have dated in the past and some recently. Some of these ladies are on Facebook and may be on Talk of the Villages as well on occasion. |

"Like-farming on Facebook is a technique in which scammers create an eye-catching post designed to get many likes and shares. Posts often give people emotional reasons to click, like, and share, such as adorable animals, sick children, or political messages, when the scammer collects enough likes and shares, they will edit the post and add something malicious." That is my public service announcement for today. |

It is very useful to communicate with some people who are usually very hard to have any contact with and not for NOTHING. You do have to be extremely careful though in believing whatever is posted on Facebook. |

Those poor people, our neighbors are in trouble. I wish there was a way to help them now. We have people who may be coming to us from Georgia. They took us in during Irma. Woke up today to an absolute total shame of a job on our beautiful lawn. I'm not complaining about NOTHING, its a disaster, I hope we don't lose the lawn. They sent a new crew. I guess I'd rather have my problem that the problem of other near us. There will be no :1rotfl: today until later. |

Anyway, I was posting from the gym just to be NOTHING but a smart aleck. My cousin decided to go use the hydro-chair or whatever it is, and I thought I could last on the treadmill til she was done. Well I almost did. That's about the time I decided I'd rather do NOTHING. :) |
There is absolutely NOTHING going on. I finally get home and both my guys leave. You don't suppose they're trying to tell me something, do you? Well, at least my son must be feeling better. He's been sick since Saturday, so glad to see he's at least able to enjoy his b-day.

Aren't you funny? The treadmill did NOTHING for me tonight. I should have been :boxing2: instead if I wanted to work up a sweat. Too bad you aren't nearby........I could use a good punching bag. |

Like one of my Facebook chatterers who has some girly boxing hands. And not from NOTHING. 24 wins, 21 KOs. This is out of 24 fights. My parents' bridge partner, Mills Lane, would be very proud. He was a boxer and then a well known referee. He did the Tyson-Holyfeld fight and was on Celebrity Death Match as a voice actor for a few years until his 2002 stroke. She is an interesting person. Fun to mix it up with verbally as in writing not talking on Facebook. I do not box though and am not a physical kind of violence person. Last person I boxed with later shot me in the left pinky with a BB gun after aiming at my eye. I convinced him to try to shoot between my fingers and he missed. Thank goodness I had a different "friend" with me at the time and this shooter was soon in some kind of violence prevention program his parents put him in. I see that he runs a business in Reno, Nevada now. This happened when I was around 15 but got me away from my rather violent friends and into reading books which intensified as soon as a certain English teacher at Earl Wooster HS took me under her wing and got me reading books like Anna Karenina. |

I would usually hunt rattlesnakes with one of his younger brothers and would make a lot of noise while walking with my clumsy self. We never did get a rattlesnake when I was along with these brothers even though their various bedroom walls were full of rattlesnake skins. I had the frame of this pistol without any firing pin in my bedroom for a long time as this oldest brother in this family-- the guy with the scarred up leg and hand-- gave it to my older brother who left it for me to have when he left Reno to work on a ranch in Basque country in central Nevada. |

I'm being NOTHING but lazy this morning.........and frustrated with my laptop and printer. Since my husband touched it last I'm blaming it on him. Although in all honesty, he is the fixer around here. He hooks everything up and makes them work while I essentially know NOTHING. Although if you let me mess around with it for awhile I sometimes figure it out, like this morning. So before the whole day gets away from me, it's Thursday, October 11th, and a yucky, rainy day up here. I'm hoping to have to go nowhere today and maybe get something done here at home. Then again, taking a nap sounds like a good idea too. |
