Btw, wonder where the Nuckster is? Maybe he's out swimming the night away. If he keeps up his 3 hour a day pace (or was that 3 pools a day?), he'll soon be shriveled up to NOTHING.

Hello you all, better late than never. What an exasperating day it was today. You got a couple of minutes, if so here goes. I want to stick with CenturyLink, have I mentioned that about a hundred times? Well after visiting Comcast the other day and meeting Mr. Chatbrat I decided to just upgrade my C/L service and let Comcast go for the time being. The main two reasons are Comcast's History for me and C/L hasn't done anything to me to take the business away. I have DSL @ 10 jiggawatts and upgraded to 20 jiggs to be done on June 6th. In the middle of very important planned out internet conference today with some clown in Jorsey the internet went KenPlunck, I mean Kerplunck.
After almost 6 hours of back and forth with customer retention and tech support the truth came out. They disconnected me at the little building up near Paradise Recreation Center in preparation for Friday's big update. This was the fifth person who I spoke with. They contradicted one another and I kept calling back because I smelled a rat.
In the end I cancelled C/L. I am really bothered by this because it forced me back to Comcast. I just hope that I am fortunate enough to enjoy the good fortune that others have had with them and that life goes on seamlessly after their installation tomorrow. Not even counting TOTV'S I am amazed at how I take the internet for granted and how much I depend on it.
We are now business wise free as two birds from all business in N.J. That really feels good.
All this Monkey Business started when I decided to go all Apple with everything in the house. The equipment need extra bandwidth-and my skinny service was not good enough. We will prevail because we are Spartan's and we know Batman as a backup. You just gotta laugh. In the old days there would be holes in the wall's and broken remote controls all over the place. For what? Thank God that garbage is over for today anyway. :pepper2:
