I would still have a very large number of posts but I have been on here since 2007. July of that year.

Miss a lot of the friends I made here over that time period who are either now just on Facebook, passed, moved, or whatever.

The NOTHING thread is a carry over from you know where. And it had a rather rotten intent behind it when made over there.

I like a lot of views of my posts as these threads can be put on Facebook where some of my friends made here on TOTV as well as others can see these threads on Facebook.

I'm sorry you still feel that way. I honestly don't believe the intent was rotten as you presume, but merely to prove a point regarding the viewership of threads. At least that's how I saw it. Nevertheless, I hope you feel welcome here and will continue to post.

It is great to see some of the threads in Just for Fun that have taken off. I hope tomwed moves forward with his suggestion. That could be very entertaining. I enjoy the talent and wit of many of the TOTV posters.

I have about 15 people on my Ignore List and do try hard now to not even bother looking at anything they post. It is worth NOTHING in the long run and just creates stomach acid in the short run.

I am a very very timid person. Very self centered and so Cheap you can hear me squeak. Never have been much fun. Nothing but a dud and a couch tater. I think I'm starting to come out of my shell a little. The best thing that has happened is I am no longer a Litterbug. When I saw how clean this joint is I swore it off. The second was to clean up the language. I was a Trucking Dispatcher and not a Florist so that was an issue. I am much improved but my old skill can be called up at a seconds notice. I am so much more tolerant now than before. It's all because of The Villages. Bless this Beautiful Place. In the pool at 9.30 PM...Unbelievable. Sage Fright. There is a difference to me of showing and telling your point of view without putting the other person on cross examination and belittling them to make yourself feel good for a minute when all you do is come off looking like a Porcupine to others. Love it! So true though. Nucky is often a bright light in an otherwise dark day. His humor, genuineness, and sincerity are evident in his posts. The past is the past for all of us. What matters is who you are today and the choices you make in light of that. Sometimes we make mistakes, can't help it us humans, but the people I admire the most are those who have the guts to admit it when they do and then move on. Carrying the burden does NOTHING but bring a person down.

People like Nucky are an inspiration to me to always try to do my best knowing that sometimes I will fail, but when I do that's okay too - use it to learn and move on. Just wish I had the funny gene that he has.......:jester:
