Barefoot is one of the nicest easiest going smart funny people we have ever had the pleasure if NOTHING but getting to know. She went through hell trying to collect a bet she made on here several years ago with NOTHING but one smart cookie our old pal Golfing Eagles. It was a sports bet, very simple actually and they had a Lobster Dinner as the Wager. I knew all along that she won. I feel so bad she never got paid.

If GE did show up now it would be at least 4 or 5 Losters because of the interest rate! :1rotfl:

Barefoot was one of the leaders of the pack when our dog croaked about two years ago. So many people were so supportive. I look at the Thread every once in a while when I'm thinking about the next dog. A great friend that I've never met, I think we never met! :1rotfl:

She is easy to meet. Just NOTHING but borrow a dog and come to Doggie Doo Run Run. Or get a dog and come there. Or even the Paradise Dog Park when it is open. Not sure Barefoot goes there but I do on occasion with the pooch in tow.

She is nice as are most of the people at Doggie Doo Run Run. I see Boxers once in a while there and many pit bull mixes. Few full breed pit bulls.

It has been getting rather crowded of late though.

All that talk about Thanksgiving NOTHING but eh! I got out the Turkey Deep Fryer yesterday. It is in showroom condition and ready for action. I think we should do a practice turkey for our neighbors who are returning from a long summers visit to the north. For me they can have the Turkey, I'll concentrate on the Stuffing!

We usually get steaks for Thanksgiving but I do often miss the turkey and not for NOTHING.

Most of the family that used to do Florida Thanksgiving back in Palm Harbor, FL in the late 1990s and early 2000s now live in California or Nevada.

Did have one Thanksgiving with friends in Denver, Co in 1983, another with the Oakland Chorus in Oakland in 1985 of 1986, and one in 1990 in St. Paul with the then U of MN Law School Student Body President and a friend who had been my Co-Director of the Minnesota Correctional Facility--Stillwater Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners (L.A.M.P.). L.A.M.P. was a clinic at the U of MN Law School. Had the Thanksgiving of 1989 with Jenny who had been one of my L.A.M.P students.

Today could be NOTHING but Thanksgiving as each day really is. Look at where we are. Look at what is available to us.
