Had dinner last night at NOTHING but Sakura next to the Old Publix on Bichara. It was very goodly. I am really starting to like the thing my kids have been eating for years, Something Called Sushi! Most of it is really is great. I like the hot green stuff also. I couldn't tell you the name of it to save my life. It works better than Mucinex DM.

I still have not been able to get into sushi.

I go to that Publix and many others at times. And not for NOTHING.

Been sick the past day but am feeling better now. Missed my usual activities. No movies, x-mas shopping, and the like. Think a lot of it is in my head-- stress related.

Tal,

Hope you get feeling better. Nothing worse than feeling puny when you have better things to do...

I had a hard core Marxist in my Sociology 101 class. NOTHING but quite something. This was at the University of Nevada, Reno. But many other much more objective Sociology professors there. Was Minoring in Religious Studies so a lot of these courses were related to religion in US society.

There is nothing like the "green stuff" if you are referring to Wasabi. I love it. Cleans out the nasal passages too.

I just tried the leftover from NOTHING but the other night without the Wasabi. It was O.K. But the Wasabi really gives it that
Zing A Roonie. Our youngest one and his wife are not gonna believe it when they come down for Christmas and we take them out for Sushi. I had previously sworn it off forever and ever amen. It's past time to broaden my horizons food-wise. But forget that place diagonal from Wawa on 301. I'm not gonna do it no way no how never ever. Meow! :1rotfl::1rotfl:

I can’t really taste nothing right now... but even if I could, sushi would not be a meal of choice. Nor would I be sauntering into anyplace named “Phoo all gone” or whatever you said it was...

Thinking of you and all you are going through and praying you will beat the snot out of this. We Gantners understand and care.

graciegirl 12-16-2019 05:13 AM

Unless something really changes my mind, I will be leaving TOTV. Today at our house there are many friends I have made on this Forum coming to visit me and Helene for a party at our house.

I have made good friends here that I see and talk to regularly, and other good friends here that I have communicated with only on this Forum.

It will be a very hard addiction to break, but maybe something new will start up and we can kid around and be serious and debate and get a little heated and then feggidabout it as Nucky says...(Nucky is one of my loved people)

Maybe as some say, The Villages is getting too big, and maybe too, I am getting too old to take the heat and understand the hearts of all ages.

. Many kind hearts will be within really hugging distance at our home today..

I will miss you, you know who you are. If you are on Facebook,so am I. My name is Grace Gantner. See you there.

Gracie,

Myself and many others would hate to see you go. You share both an honesty and a love for TV that certainly needs to continued and spread around. If more people would be like you it would be a nicer place.

Having been on many different forums in the past 20 years, I find that they are all the same. You have great people that want to be involved and share and make nice comments. You become friends with them and are able to share some lighthearted banter with them.

Then you have the 1% group that enjoys drama, chaos and just being slightly obnoxious. I just avoid them and I don’t even comment on their posts. Those are people that I wouldn't want to be associated with in real life anyhow, so I don’t pay them any attention.

Don’t leave TOTV. Take a break for the holidays, but return and share the positivity that you bring to this forum...

Nothing but the truth here.

Eric

1969 Alka Seltzer "Spicy Meatball" Commercial - YouTube

It would be kind of bland on here without graciegirl. The Moderator does a good job with getting rid of those who seem to make things go to rot. NOTHING but a spicy meatball is better than one with no taste.

I do need an Alka Setlzer though once in a while or its equivalent due to some of her posts as I would suppose she and others have the same re-action to some of mine.

K-Man you are NOTHING but ruthless. You are also NOTHING but even handed! GG leaving is not good news for me and many others. Some others must feel differently.

When we were brand new here and a bit disoriented because the closing on the Jersey house was delayed GG and her family welcomed us as if we were life long friends. I would never ever not be loyal to the entire GG family because I’ll never forget their kindness! I rest my case.

I was parked in NOTHING but the Target parking lot on 441 looking toward the direction of Rolling Acres Rd and whatyaaknow? A Rocket far away in the sky??? Last night's launch was quite bright. And no clouds to speak of this time. One of the best I have seen during the 14.5 years we have been here in the Villages. NOTHING but very pretty.

I remember the “My Favorite Martian” show, of course I was nothing but a toddler back then. :)

Spoiler 12-18-2019 08:06 AM

Looked around on the television this morning and nothing much interested me. So... as we got the internet at our house, I fired it up and found the Martian show...

This was Season 1, Episode 1... I was about 3 when this aired, so I probably wasn't really doing nothing much when it played on our 19” black and white floor model. (I can’t remember if that TV was “Hi-Def” or not...)

My Favorite Martian

My Favorite Martian is an American science fiction television sitcom that aired on CBS from September 29, 1963, to May 1, 1966,[2] for 107 episodes. The show stars Ray Walston as Uncle Martin (the Martian) and Bill Bixby as Tim O'Hara. The first two seasons, totaling 75 episodes, were in black and white, while the 32 episodes of season three were in color.

So I was out riding around aimlessly this morning. As I sailed past the WaWa, I couldn’t help but swing in and check out them crazy meatballs that the Nuckster always raves about. Not sure what I was expecting to see but with some cautious little footsteps, I anxiously approached the area where the mythical meatballs are typically sequestered.... But today there was nothing... zero, zippo, ... none to be found. I can only assume that Nuck had already been there...

My search continues....
