I broiled a London Broil which I got from Winn-Dixie on June 20, 2020 and it NOTHING but turned out quite good even if too rare for my father and it was Father's Day when I cooked it. Had to microwave his portion which defeated the marinade.

Been having problems with the grill for the past few months. Cannot get the new Weber grill to work. Something to do with the regulator and propane getting to grill itself. Very irritating.

Even got a new Weber grill in case the old one's regulator was bad but I have the same problem and the Ace Hardware people-- or the one I talked to the most-- thinks I am the problem rather than the propane tank.

Took the propane tank three times to Ace and they tested it and it worked for them. Gas came out of the pipe at their Southern Trace store.

So, I am stuck with a grill I cannot get to work and the right parts for smaller propane tanks are hard to find.

Bought a book at Walmart yesterday and it was NOTHING but $22.74. Made my day because of the tome's title and the numbers which may or may not mean anything. One of the Harry Potter books was the same price after discounts if my memory serves and I bought that in Tampa at Books-a-Million.

The woman counting the coming-and-going people did have a nice smile for me, I think, when I was walking with my cart and the book which she could see through the plastic bag.

I did look for the book last week when it came out at Walmart but did not see a copy but did buy The Lincoln Conspiracy by Brad Meltzer with John Mensch instead.

The NOTHING Thread was invented when the Political Thread was put to rest. Back at that time to the best of my recollection it was a give and take of ideas that started out easy and got really rough in the end. NOTHING has been criticized for being nothing but when you think back weren't those the good old days? No big gripes just a whole lot of bitchin'.

Remember when a parent would say if you're gonna cry I'll give you something to cry about? Well, now we've got something to cry about. Happy? We actually have several things to cry about. We are still a fortunate bunch because it could be a whole lot worse. I'm gonna try and not cry over any of the little things and save it for the big things which seem to be incoming from all over.
