I was hoping that I was using it in a more appropriate context, but with these guys on here, I doubt it......

Anyway, today is NOTHING but the last day of September - Sunday the 30th to be exact. It is still very green up here. Normally the leaves would be a beautiful array of colors. This weather is just downright weird anymore.

So today will be hectic between this unexpected breakfast and still having to catch up with other family members and the fact that I'm beat......I hate late nights because I'm not one to sleep in just because I went to bed late. If not for the handful of great girls that I got to catch up with last night, it would have been much worse. Being an all school reunion and not just a class one which I never go to because ours is always a dud, we were the youngest ones there except for the group next to us from 1988. Nevertheless, I hate these things and would much rather just meet up with my girls so this morning should be fun except I may need a lot of coffee.....

I'm glad I did this though for my good friend. She lost her husband to cancer last November and I think all of this was really good for her. To that end, it was well worth my time. I know she would be there for me just the same. We have known each other since birth practically. Having lifelong friends like that is a gift not to be taken lightly.

Oh, forgot about the deer report.......this is for you especially, Nucky. I'm coming up the hill to my sister's house late last night and yep, there it is, a deer right in the middle of the road just tempting the Deermobile to play chicken with it. Then as I rounded the corner to turn onto my sister's street, NOTHING but 3 more staring at me. And in case you're wondering, no, I didn't have that much to drink.....

The thought of this has NOTHING but ruined my day.. lol

Our house up north went through 3 closings before we finally got an email from the closing company that said we have your check. We went to Arnold Palmer and had one heck of a celebration and saved and dated the wine bottle we got. Our closing here was NOTHING but a piece of cake.

NOTHING but trying to figure out what to have for dinner. The weather would suggest grilled cheese sandwiches and soup.

Just came back from dinner out. I have been eating NOTHING but bad, bad, bad stuff. I think my sister is punishing me for making her walk with me. She went out and bought my favorite ice cream. Too bad you and fw aren't here. I'd make you guys eat it for me because having it in the house is NOTHING but killing me.

So I guess you're saying it's pretty chilly up there? It has cooled down a good bit here too especially in the evening, but the days have been sunny and comfortable. No complaining here after all the rain we've had.

Would gladly sacrifice and eat the ice cream for you..
