Are the deer up there NOTHING but multiplying like rabbits this year?
|
I have seen very few deer in the Villages. They are around Lake Tarpon though as there was often a bunch on the lawns in the cul-de-sac where we lived at dawn. Lake Tarpon Lake Tarpon is near Palm Harbor where we lived for nine years before coming to the Villages.
And I would see them out in the forest in back of East Lake Community Library sometimes near 5:30 PM or so. East Lake Community Library is in Palm Harbor, FL. There are a lot of other animals to watch out for here in the Villages-- possum, armadillo, red fox, feral cats, abandoned dogs, and especially tortoises and turtles. The gators seem to stay off the roads most of the time. And not for NOTHING. |
