About 8 years ago we actually were fighting fires there at Hurricane Ridge.

Washington is certainly diverse. We have the mountains on the Olympic Peninsula. The Cascades which run down the middle of the state and then the high desert on the east side. Something for everyone.

NOTHING but beautiful country all around. Can't imagine why you want to move to boring Florida........

If you guys would like to take an educated guess do you think the trip was Jacked Up because of Migratory Humanoids heading South or Holiday traffic or the Combo Plan?

The funniest thing that happened that I keep playing over and over again in my head is our youngest Granddaughter who just loves her Grandma said something that was NOTHING but amazingly funny.

Grandma slept with Granddaughter one night and they were reading stories and signing and playing with toys and all the good fun stuff when Grandaughter says to Grandma with a straight face...:1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: Grandma your toenails are Jacked Up. 4 years old, they are like sponges, where in the hell did she pick that up?

Now anything that is marginal on The NOTHING Thread will be hereby decried to be Jacked Up! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl: Please add to the Manifesto.

Mrs. Nucky could have the entire world collapsing and the hair and nails every 3 to 4 weeks. Where do these kids get this stuff? More later Gators. So grateful to be here, I know you know what I mean. :mademyday:

She is NOTHING but learning your language........and quickly :1rotfl:

I'm NOTHING but going for the combo plan. We went to Walmart this morning and jacked up pretty much describes it. The people in front of us had two carriages full! Glad to hear you had a good time.

NOTHING but sunshine and golf carts.. lol

As I read what you guys are saying on here and also on the forum in general, I'm thinking the best strategy for us might be to come down in early December and start our half year then, spending Christmas in TV. Maybe we can avoid most of the holiday (Thanksgiving and Christmas) and snowbird traffic by doing that. Of course once we are all set up we can just fly back and forth, but the first year we'll probably drive down and leave a car there.

We've got NOTHING but a busy year ahead of us trying to figure all of this out, not to mention the downsizing of stuff we want to continue with up here. So much can change in that time too......I'm a planner, but if I've learned NOTHING else, it is to hold those plans loosely.

Good idea. Remember: “Mann Tracht, Un Gott Lacht” is an old Yiddish adage meaning nothing but, “Man Plans, and God Laughs.”

So I guess we won't be seeing you in October then? I guess we mean NOTHING to you.. lol

Can't even face doing the pictures today. I felt something before on my ankle, it was my butt, dragging. Instead, we are going to try a new pool somewhere today.

I know a few Yiddish saying, can't repeat them but I know some. OY VEY!

If you don't embrace the Golf Cart part of The Villages if possible then I think a person is missing out on a major fun factor. On the other hand, I totally understand the real safety concerns of many, which I believe are valid. For us though Zoom Zoom Zoom and try to not get Jacked Up! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

She didn't pick this up from me because I'm not allowed to talk to any of the Grandchildren until they are NOTHING but 21. Ho Ho HO. B.S.

It's so exciting to hear you making real plans. Yes December is a very fun place to be for the holidays, there is always so much to do and the weather is always so pleasant to enjoy them with. The season I used to hate the most is now the one I NOTHING but love the most.

Don't you worry about that - that's already NOTHING but on the calendar. You're worth the extra trip. :)

That's so good to hear actually. I was telling someone the other day that Christmas has never been the same since my mother passed away. My dad never wanted to celebrate it after she was gone - not meaning the reason for the season, of course, but all the festivities that went along with it. He said it was mom's holiday, not his, and he preferred after she was gone to do NOTHING. So in some respects it became less joyful for us too. Maybe it's finally time for a new beginning where celebrating Christmas is concerned.

NOTHING but the truth there. I've given Him a few good ones along the way, along with some "I told you so's" - lol

Abby10 12-29-2018 05:58 PM

So can you tell, I've finally been excused from "class" for the day? Lol

Oh darn, I just remembered he did give me some homework. Unfortunately, I forgot what it was now.......

Doing "schoolwork" is a lot harder than it was 40 years ago. We both flip the page so to speak and that quickly can't remember the material we just went over. Now my brain hurts and all it can take at this point is NOTHING.
