Heaps of praise for an unsung Nothing! Is Mrs. K from Brooklyn? Has she ever visited Brooklyn? Does she know someone from Brooklyn? Can she spell Brooklyn? See, going "Brooklyn" worked.

Whatta gal -- loved the story.

Well as you say, the pain is NOTHING enjoyable but it was the aftermath of the surgery that about killed me.

Had laproscopic surgery to remove gallstones. Everything seemed to have gone fine. About a week later I started to experience pain again. Went back to the docs and they did a few tests and couldn't find anything wrong. Another week goes by and still have pain.. Did an MRI and some other leak tests and still NOTHING.

Three weeks and excruciating pain. Go to the ER and they couldn't find anything. Mrs. K is suspecting pancreatitis.. Given a bottle of Vicodin and told to have a good day.

Two more days, go back to the ER. Mrs K. insists I have pancreatitis. Doc says blood work normal. Given another bottle of Vicodin and told to have a good day.

One thing I failed to mention is that Mrs. K worked for this hospital system, just not the location I was going to.

Another couple of days... Woke up doubled over. Looked yellow and my pee was the color of rootbeer.

Back to the ER. I was starting to lose consciousness. Mrs. K was on her way to work so had her uniform on so when she yelled for a doctor people finally took action.

At that time I think we were married maybe two years and in that time I don't think I had ever heard a swear word come out of Mrs. K's mouth. As I was going out the Nursing Manager put her arm around Mrs. K's shoulder and said don't worry. everything will be okay. The last thing I remember hearing was "Get your F***ing hands off me and take care of my husband

I woke up three days later with a priest at my bedside. I thought it was game over. lol Evidently he was the hospital priest and Mrs. K had him checking on me daily.

Once I finally got into a regular hospital bed the care changed dramatically for the better. The doc that took care of me did everything Mrs. K told him to.. There was even a note on my chart that said "No procedure to be performed without first being approved by Mrs. K". lol Ended up being in the hospital for three weeks.

It turns out that they missed a stone during surgery and it found its way into my pancreatic duct causing, as Mrs. K told them, pancreatitis.

That is NOTHING but some story. They missed one little stone and all those problems ensued. See K-Man, this is the reason you needed a backup Enforcer to Mrs. K-Lady. Seriously its just terrible. The Doctor caught me by surprise yesterday with the news on the telephone while I was busy and I need to talk to him again when I'm ready to receive all the information properly.

I'm awake now because of pain in my lower right side back. I'm almost certain he said Gall Stoners are in the front on the right. The main thing is The Vena Cava Filter I have to keep blood clots from wiping me NOTHING but out looks stable which is a major relief. It does have one extra attraction which is shortness of breath, thanks a million, helps you live but sometimes begging for your next breath doesn't add up.

Mistakes during surgery are common. Mrs. Nucky's dad had a sponge left behind after they sewed him up and he eventually passed away from the infection it caused. Thankfully Mrs. K put her foot down and thank God she did cause we need you here.

I was offered pain meds and turned them down for now but no John Wayne thing going on here. If it gets bad I'll take 'em. Thanks for relating your experience.

When we NOTHING but turn on our NORTHEAST THING some of the people just freeze in astonishment because they never saw Humans communicate as only we can. Crooklyn #1. :1rotfl::1rotfl:

Nucky, that is what I had last year. It was really not as bad as I expected, the fear was the worst part.

I am trying to get my friend to buy a house and move down. Her husband is NOTHING but ready but she is a hard sell. We did see a beautiful house in McLure that they liked.

Carry on guys.

We seem to be having a lot of repeats on A4 of The Villages Daily Sun for the Villages' household numbers.

Today has:

AZ-- 106.
GA-- 915.
KS-- 205.
ME-- 529.
TN-- 495.
WY-- 19.

They do a short paragraph or two about something going on in that state. NOTHING much else.

On another subject, relatives in Guerneville are higher than their neighbors lower down so they are OK for now. Lots of flooding in that area of Northern CA. Tal of Taltarzac is OK!!!! Tal, Tar, and Zac are my nieces and nephew. Or three of them. I have quite a lot more. One of the other ones is in August Rush a movie starring the late Robin Williams. At that point, no. But we have been to Brooklyn since. Cruised out of Red Hook.

When we cruised from there we went a few days early to meet up with a late friend. She took us around. Showed us Coney Island, the Naval Yard/Museum and other stuff. She was an Observant Jew and showed us her neighborhood which I found very interesting. The different cultures in NY is something to behold. Had NOTHING but the best pastrami sandwich of my life there.
What really cracked me up was parking. I drive for a living and would never even consider stuffing my car into some of the places she went. Pull up, bump the car in front of you. Turn the wheel, back up, bump the car behind you. Crank the wheel, pull forward, bump the car in front of you. Wash, rinse, repeat until you're car is in the parking spot.. :1rotfl:

When my symptoms first presented themselves we were visiting the relatives in SoCal. I thought I was having NOTHING but a heart attack. went to the ER and they did a full cardiac workup on me. Doc said the ticker was fine. Follow up with primary doc when you get home. We were living in the Bay Area at the time and unfortunately we had an HMO that was Jacked Up.. lol

That incident was the last straw and the last time we ever had an HMO. My first dealing with them was after a motorcycle accident where they kept me in the ER strapped to a backboard for 4 hours before even ordering x-rays.

I could have, but I'm already playing secretary for someone else this morning and he ranks higher - lol. Yep, it's NOTHING but my husband's fault. Because he decided to take a leap into something new, we've got bells, whistles and all kinds of noises going off around here. I feel like one of those old time operators at Bell Tell with multiple phone lines ringing, except now we have to deal with multiple devices going off.

Two quick things and then reluctantly I have to move from NOTHING back to something -

So good to hear from fw this morning - wasn't expecting that.

A NOTHING has been missed on here, but I have enough chaos going on around to chase down a NOTHING so you guys have fun trying to find what I'm talking about.

'Til later - possibly much later...........:sigh:
